I had a hard time finding a pack of just sanders. Most packs seem to come with assorted bits plus sanding bands. I have all those. I needed just *these*. It does come with a couple mounts which is handy and relevant. My dog and I prefer to dremel his grizzly sized nails rather than clip. His nails grow crazy fast and I don't feel like spending $15 every 3 weeks to keep them manageable. I've also found that I get better results faster if I use a new sanding band each time. Hence the search for a large pack of them. These came in 4 grit sizes. So far I've used a medium-coarse grit and didn't need to follow up with a finer grit to avoid chips and snags. So far so good there. The band is snug to get on and off, even after loosening the top screw, which I tightened after install to compress the rubber on the bit to hold the band more snugly. But it did go on and come off without damage. It's also the first sanding band I've used that didn't try to walk off the post, so thanks for that! The sandpaper surface even looked like it could go another round with mr. grizzly toes after a marathon spa day. (2 month gap and he was sliding on hard floors. My bad.) I use fresh ones anyway because who knows what crud was in those nails coming off...Good quality, good quantity, good price, no unnecessary bits. Works as well or better than my branded parts. Thank you. Highly Recommended.

You can't tell the difference between these and the big name brand. And they're a fraction of the cost even after price increase. Plus they throw in a couple of mandrels. Of the four free mandrels I've had from packs like these, I've only had issues with one (which I think I can fix; adhesive holding the metal cap to the rubber barrel has let go.)Highly recommend!

I used these mandrels with my Dremel and they worked great. The sanding drums are not as well made as the name brand ones. I found them coming apart often, however I was using them to sand very hardwoods like birch and oak. For the cost compared to name brand drums it doesn't make sense not to use them.

I was looking for some sanding bands, and I kept on seeing Dremel branded ones for...expensive. Now, I'm totally down with quality over quantity, but for this purchase, it was just too good to pass up.Realistically, the difference between Dremel branded and this "brand" of sanding drums are nominal. I'm using a Dremel + flexshaft, and the drums function almost exactly the same. And by "almost", I mean it's not the same grit as the Dremel ones that I have.As far as quality per usage, I'm sanding mostly softer metals,(copper, brass, silver) and these are doing really well by holding up equivocally to the Dremel bands, from my less-than perfected flexshaft finesse. They also came with some mandrels. They aren't the greatest of mandrels, but they are fully functional, and I don't expect them to break randomly on me. I do expect them to wear out, but it's not anytime super-soon. Thinking comparatively, something fairly solid from Harbor Freight; you didn't pay much, and you'll be pleasantly surprised when they keep going.None of them have exploded or unraveled on me, however a few (3) did come slightly flattened. Which, if I can't use them, it make's the per unit price go up by a whopping .002 cents. That's like a pie-slice of a penny. Clearly, I'm completely outraged, and demand my two-thousandths of a penny refunded. (I'm not especially fantastic at math, so it may have/probably is less)They came appropriately, time-wise, and everything was there. I totally counted. Twice. I'm absolutely sure I'll get another package of these when I run out, whenever that may be.

These are very cheaply made -- they fall apart right away. Maybe that's ok given the very low price, but next time I would go up one price category probably.

These wheels seem to be similar in build and quality to the ones that came with my Dremel, at a far better price.I'm currently working on building a fiberglass kit car, and there are several spots that need to have cutting done, for example for the headlight holes, etc. I've been using a dremel with a cutoff wheel to cut close, then using the 60grit sanding wheels to finish the job. These have been working great. And I'm doing no trivial amount of sanding -- I'm grinding away 0.5" to 1" of fiberglass around the circumference of each hole. Other methods such as saws and drills will tend to chip the gelcoat at the edges, and sanding is leaving a nice, clean, smooth edge. One note: it took me a while to get the dremel speed dialed in. At 35k rpm, the sanding drums lasted seconds before disintegrating. At 15k-20kRPM, the bands stayed on the tool, and I was able to cut out an entire headlight opening with a single one. Also, at 30krpm, when the discs failed, they would shoot off never to be seen again in the darkest recesses of my garage. At 15k, I haven't had one fail yet, but after some time, they become loose on the mandrel, and start to slide off, at which time it's ready for replacement.

Most of the bands don't fit the mandrels and move around while on medium spead. The bands that do stay on don't last very long and come apart at the seems before the grit is half used up. Even with the low price, the frustration isn't worth it.
