My wife got one of these and I thought it was so awesome I got one also. Able to carry all your gear easily. Rolls great. Its about as pricey as they get and for that there should be a little more attention to detail. One my wife's bag, the "reinforcing structural plastic" is all destroyed. One piece that reinforced the pick up handle on the bottome of the bag and the plastic behind where the extendable handle attaches inside the bag. See pictures. Her bag has been on three trips. Also you will see where we have patched multiple areas of the "rip-stop" material. My bag also needed some rip-stop patched after it's second trip. I get that the airlines are rough with bags in general and rips can not always be avoided. I am just passing along MY experience with this bag and how well it will hold up. The airlines also managed to lose one half of one of the buckles on my bag and I am unable to locate a Scuba pro replacement. Would be nice if the had those and replacement plastic available on the website. I am replacing the broken plastic with a piece of 1/4" plywood. That will add about a pound of weight, but it won't crack and shatter. Maybe before you design, produce and sell a product like this, have some one REAL WORLD test it on a couple of trips and see where your product will, or might fail and address it.

I like ScubaPro and all of my other ScubaPro gear but the bottom of this bag is poorly designed. Especially considering how expensive it is. The bottom is not reinforced and the nylon is super thin. The plastic liner on the bottom of the bag ripped through the nylon on my very first flight. Very disappointed in my purchase and I expect better from ScubaPro
