I was surprised how much better the A700 second stage would be than the rentals I leaned on, but it’s night and day. The MK25 is a solid piece of equipment, look, touch, and feel matches the price premium. The swivel is a nice feature. You just need to be careful when you have the flow wide open it wants to free flow all the time so you need to set it to “pre-dive mode” when on the surface.

I love this regulator system. Absolutely amazing - required a slight adjustment on the first stage for a whistle on exhale but other than that, absolutely marvelous unit to breathe off. I have dove for the last 8.5 years with an oceanic cdx5 and regulator / octo and I'll use them on my side mount kit for emergency use only. THIS unit is my primary and you have to dive it and breathe off it to believe it. You won't go wrong with ScubaPro. Yes, the cost is a bit more, but the quality is DEFINITELY there.
