Your cart is empty. The LITEHAWK is the ultimate back-flotation travel BCD. Its lightweight, ultra-slimmed-down design and flexible backpack lays flat and compact for packing. The belt-style waist strap with nylon buckle can be cinched up snug, and quick-release rotating shoulder buckles let you route the straps under your arms for a custom fit thatâ€s also stable at depth. The BCD carries no inherent buoyancy so only minimal ballast weight is required. (Optional quick-release weight pockets are available.) Two basic accessory pockets are included, and four aluminum D-rings provide convenient clip-on points for additional gear. Itâ€s a streamlined package that is well-suited for both tropical and temperate water diving.

I was looking for a no frills BCD that I could travel to the Caribbean with. After 30 dives with it I have been extremely pleased with it. Very good quality. There are not a lot of extras like pockets so if that is something you must have I bet there would be a way to integrate a small one some how. There are plenty of D rings for accessories however. I love how free it makes me feel while on the water. The main negative I see is that you cannot carry much weight with this BC. Anything over 14 lbs would be a challenge to carry in the ML version I have. If you need a lot of weight you may have to add weight pockets or dive with a belt.

Full disclosure, I returned this BCD because it did not come with the Air2 system, as described - I don't fault the seller, as it was described both ways in different areas of the ordering/purchase process (I assumed the photo was wrong and description to be correct). That said, it's a very nice BCD, well constructed, with 2 integrated weight pockets in the back (will hold 2 lb weights for trim) and detachable weight pockets (hold up to 5 lb in each I believe) on the hip, which you can invert for quick release. You can also add additional weight pockes to the belt for tech or cold water diving. I'm 6'2", 210 lbs and the Med/Lrg fit nicely. For me personally, less is more in a BCD; I dont like a lot of bulk around me, I don't like the weight pockets forward on the hips like a jacket style BCD and I prefer a back inflate - the Litehawk checked all those boxes.

Great fit, very comfortable and easy to Don and Doff. Perfect weight for a Travel or warm water BC. Has enough lift in the Bc to be used in cold water diving also. Easy to get on and off on the land or in the water .This is my second one of the ScubaPro Litehawk BCD. Get one now before the are gone. this model has been discontinued by Scubapro

I just received the BCD unfortunately different color and without hose. I will not return it because I have already booked a diving trip. I will buy the hose and try it this weekend. I hope to find the bcd worth all of the compromises.I will write the product review after the dive.
