The fabric detached from the coil, or visa versa I guess. On the second dive; with only sport fins hanging from it. Terrible.
best game ever!!!!!

I bought this without looking at reviews because I keep losing shot. It's massive and beefy (non derogatory.) Haven't taken it into the water yet but it seems well made and durable and I like the colour options

I have been needing this for years to secure my flashlight to my BCD. It's perfect and functional. Highly recommend product and seller!

I've bought this gear to secure the gopro while diving. Used it once already. Seems to be rather decent, not too bulky, the clips can be handled easily under water, the cord stretches without an effort. After the dive there was no rust on the metal parts.

The best lanyard to secure your underwater camera. The spring clip leaves you enough length to extend your arms fully. I've seen divers losing there camera while only using the wrist lanyard the camera is usually coming with. Don't do the same mistake. It's a 1000 times worth buying it.

The lanyard has a flexible fabric/mesh coating over the extending spiral, which makes it sturdy and less prone to snagging. It also makes it not too easy to extend without some pulling force. This is not too bad if one drags something through a current: it won't dangle to far and low behind. I for instance let my selfiestick or extra flashlight for fluorodiving dangle when I need my hands free. But it is not very easy to flex this lanyard out very far due to this fabric sleeve, so it is clearly a mixed bag. Some folks like the quick release buckles, but other divers call them 'suicide buckles' since they can attach themselves to lines, ropes, etc unbeknowst to the diver, and can trap them. It is not easy to unhook these without eye sight, and situations can become tricky if one wears a thick neoprene suit and cannot see what exactly happened. This particularly true for wreck and impaired vision diving.I also wish it was made from salt-water resistant brass since stainless steel will rust quickly when not taken care of immediately after diving. For these reasons, most divers prefer marine brass buckles that have thumb latches for release, which can be felt and therefore opened by touch. I wish this was an option, since this buckle is not exchangeable. But it is a great lanyard quality-wise, and probably a good addition for divers who e.g. do reef photography during the day in a group.
