Nicely made portable snorkel. Haven’t used it yet, but look forward to trying in on my next scuba trip.

I never liked the fancy purge valves or water blocking mechanisms that are in so many snorkels. I know how to clear a snorkel. This one is basic, inexpensive, it fits well on my mask, head, and in my mouth. It's comfortable in my mouth. It seems indestructible. The little carrier thingy is weird. I don't know how to use it, don't need it, and don't expect to use it.

I have been snorkeling and diving for many years and I have tried many different types of snorkels and to date I have found that the Nautilus Snorkel is the best one I have used. I am from the old school where less is more. I like the fact that there are no extra valves, vents, or deflectors to cause leakage or drag while swimming or diving. There is also the fact that this snorkel is versatile in that it can be rolled up and stored in it's clip case or clipped to your BCD or put in a pocket rather than having to wear it while you are diving. Because of the simplicity there is no water leaking into the snorkel while you are using it. I have been using it when I do laps in the pool for exercise with swim goggles. I have found that I get a better workout being able to do laps without having to turn my head to take breaths on every stroke. I can concentrate on my form and get more out of the swim. In the past I have tried all kinds of snorkels with purge valves, deflector ports, swivels etc. etc. and most times there is drag or leakage and I am constantly having to blow the water out but this snorkel is very dry. Just be aware that if you are in rough water there is the possibility that a wave could allow water to get into the snorkel and you will have to be able to blow it out or take the mouth piece out to drain it but that can happen with any snorkel; With a little practice it will not be a problem. Simplicity is the key for me with the Roll-up Nautilus Snorkel.

Folds up nicely. I wish the clip to attach to my mask was a bit stronger

Use it so I have a snorkel and so I don't have have one attached to my mask causing drag and creating another point to get caught on something - I keep in my BCD pocket and deploy it if I need it

Hard to find item in local dive shops! So great bought my wife one in her color. Great item for scuba diving without the hassle of having a snorkel attached to your mask.
