I am a good swimmer, so this review based on being some what of a strong swimmer. Weaker swimmer may have different experience!!! Worked well, only need a bit of air if you are a good swimmer and using it as a back up, and to be noticed in the water. I made the mistake of inflating it all the way, the waves were taking me and I was Bobbing. To snorkel, just need a tiny bit of air. Easy to add or remove air when you’re in the water. Stores nicely and takes up very little space. Only used once. Can’t speak to long term durability.

My husband took this on our recent cruise vacation for snorkeling in port. It was just what he needed as a safety net to relax and enjoy snorkeling. Folds up small for packing. Easy to inflate and use. Now our snorkeling gear is complete!

I bought this inflatable life vest for my recent cruise to the Caribbean. It saves me quite a bit of money not having to rent equipment. It folds up small and is very easy to transport. I was a little worried that they might try to make me Use their equipment at the snorkeling center, but no one said a word. You have to have a lifevest to snorkel in most places, but it doesn’t have to be rented from them.At Royal Caribbean’s Coco Cay, They have free lockers you can put your stuff in. So it came in super handy to be able to Stowaway my snorkeling equipment when I needed a break, and come back to it whenever I was ready.Whether you buy this life vest or another make sure you buy some sort of light fest because like I said you have to have one in most if not all backspace backspstowaway my snorkeling equipment when I needed a break, and come back to it whenever I was ready.Whether you buy this lifevest or another make sure you buy some sort of lifevest because like I said you have to have one in most, if not all, snorkeling excursions.I bought a different brand for my wife just so I could compare/ contrast the two. I won’t name any names, but this one definitely came out on top.I can swim OK, but having this extra bit of Buoyancy sure made my snorkeling adventure much more enjoyable. With the blow air valve you can control your buoyancy. When you want to take it easy and just float on the top you blow some more air into it. And if you want to swim down and check something out, you let some air out. Super simple.

Perfect vest for my husband for snorkeling. Just gave him that added security that he needed. He is 5'9' 210 pounds and it was a perfect fit. Would definitely recommend.

Bought these for trip to Cayman Islands , so happy to have them as we snorkeled on our own off the shore quite a bit . Makes it easy to see everyone ( getting run over by a boat is no fun ) and could be a life saver if you were exhausted and were quiet a ways from shore. Everyone wanted to know were to get them I had people offer to buy mine. I am surprised the dive shops didn't sell them there. We only saw one other person with one hers was pink. we had one regular size L and three in the xL. Would buy these again if mine needed to be replaced which they do not . We plan on using them again this spring .

I used this with a hookah unit to scrape the props and rudders of my boat. Inflation is easy and adjustable. This is an extra large floatation device. A small person may have problems because of its size. I didn't need a regular robust scuba buoyancy compensator, so this was an excellent choice for the price. I would not use it for scuba as it may be easily cut by oyster shells, barnacles and the like, as it is just an unprotected vinyl air chamber.

Used it for about 10 days snorkeling in Pacific reefs - works well - easy to inflate and deflate - I only had to fine tune adjust the crotch strap to make sure it wouldn't ride up on my chest to cover face --but otherwise it fits my purpose of added safeguard and confidence in the water. The size I ordered was right as I take an XL shirt

Works well. Be sure you order the right size, I ordered an XL to be safe but really shouldve orderd a large. The vest is a little large but still fits and performs its function just as you'd expect. Its seems to be well made and should last for many years, the mouth valve has a nice spring action to it, its easy to fill or deflate while in the water. Worth the price, especially for those of us who can swin but arent strong swimmers or probably even those who really cant swim but want to snorkel in shallow waters and be/feel safe.

This worked perfectly. Made our open water snorkel experiences more secure - floating was easy, releasing air to dive was easy. Appears to be well made. Bought one in Large and one in XL, the later of which helped keep a 6', 225-lb guy easily floating for extended snorkeling.

Buying these vests was the best vacation decision we made (other than choosing St John). It folded perfectly flat and took up almost no room in our bags. The straps were very easy to adjust and the valve worked perfectly to easily adjust the amount of air in the vest. It made it very comfortable and relaxing to snorkel. If you get a little tired, it's very easy to float, rest and then keep going (plus no treading water and scaring the fish). We watched someone snorkeling without a vest, get caught in the strong current and get into trouble. Ended up giving her one of our vests to get her back to the beach. We won't be snorkeling without them.
