This is a #1 snap clip, NOT a #2 snap clip like the photo shows. Great quality, BUT completely useless if if you need a clip bigger than a #1.

I use these at work as a Lineman to hang my rubber glove bag from a rope on the side of my bucket. Have used them to hang tools too. Another guy uses 1 as a belt clip for his keys.

I purchased these at the end of last season to use for my new crab trot line. I got them out of storage and starting to set up my trot line to make sure it was ready before hitting the water. Only a small amount of pressure and several of the clips pulled out of the swivel base. Thankfully I was checking them and they were in the water. That would have been several thousand feet or trot line and hundreds of dollars lost. Wouldn’t recommend these for anything. They literally pulled apart as I was spreading everything out. Not even under the pulling force being in use in the water. Such a waste.

Scuba choice eye snap on the left appears to not close fully and is of inferior quality. Shoreline marine eye snap on the right costs less than half the price and is of much better build quality.
