I needed a way to clean electrical contacts that had oxidized. Soaking them in vinegar, baking soda, Coke, and other fluids didn't get the contacts clean, so I used this brush and now the contacts look and work like that are brand new. I didn't know about this brush until someone brought it up, but it now has a permanent spot in my toolbox.

La compré para retocar acabados cepillados en relojes - en combinación con una scotch brite funcionó muy bien. Hay que tener cuidado porque deja polvo de la fibra de vidrio.

Well made scratch brush. Like any other scratch brush which uses fiberglass bristles, it is strongly recommended that you wear gloves, a dust mask and periodically vacuum your work surface to remove microscopic glass shards and reduce the risk of silicosis. But it works well, if you take the precautions listed above.

Very good tool when to aid airbrush. Really helps making very fine and detailed hair on claybord. Just make sure you vacuum floor after use because fiberglass breakage will happen. Simply tool with satisfying results.

I've used this for cleaning electrical contacts with good results. Once in a while, a timer, flashlight, or other battery operated electronic device will not function properly despite the batteries still being good. Rubbing the contacts and battery ends for a few seconds with this brush will result in perfect operation again, in most cases. This brush is good for larger contacts while the extra thin one is good for small contacts and contacts in deep or tight places. This brush is not super large, it's just about twice the diameter of the extra thin one.

A tiny bit soft but will remove rust spots on car before applying touch-up paint. When it gets soft and mushy, cut the tip with scisors and go back to work

These work great on getting rust out of your nicked spots on the car paint. Scratch out the rust and clean the metal, cover with touchup paint and you're good to go. Without this pen, my wife's car looked like it is going through puberty with all the bumps and nicks on the face of it. With it, I was able to make her car much better, but don't use on your face or on skin, it has small fiberglass fibers that can break off and get into your skin.

I use this tool for touching up the brushed finish on my watches. It really works well on tight spots where I cannot use my usual "go to tool", the scotch brite pad.As other have mentioned, make sure you wear protective gloves and eye wear if you are going to use this as the (nearly invisible) small fiberglass strands tend to break off.Would have been nice if there was some warning instructions that came with the tool.
