Don't be fooled, these kilts (that will be the only time that I use the word kilt in this review) are NOT, and I mean NOT anywhere close to being denim. There's no tag on the skirt that tells me what the skirt is made of, but I'm guessing some sort of very thin and very shiny polyester.To say that the skirt is lightweight is an understatement. It's so lightweight that when you first handle it you wonder if The skirt is even opaque or not.The chain that you see in the picture, each link is less than ⅛ of an inch in width. It makes the skirt look even more ridiculous.I ordered medium. A medium should have a maximum diameter of 34 inches. This has a diameter of 40 inches. The pockets displayed in the pictures are shown to be on the side of the skirt. measuring center of the pocket to center of the other pocket should be about 20 in. The pockets on this skirt measure 12 inches when measured center to center which makes the side pockets actually some sort of very strange rear pocketsBasically what that means is even with a belt and cinched up fabric this skirt is completely unwearable without looking totally ridiculous.This is the worst purchase due to both false advertising, and poor design I've ever made on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter.
