Item does its job, however the location of use was a kitchen and the felt pads lost too much felt during use to finish the job that way. Had to return the item.

These wheels work good to restore sidewalls of rubber tires to better than new condition with a good rubber conditioner. Even though the dirt was embedded into the rubber after washing these discs with conditioner they were effective at pulling out the filth. It took quite a while for the disc to become clogged full of filth before they became unusable; however, for the cleanup of 4 old tires to consume 2 discs was reasonable to me.

Very durable. They're not very 'fine' and I feel like I'd like to finish up after this with some kind of finer polishing pad. The design also tends to hold little clumps of polish in the crevasses between the squares of material and when you hit the edge it will redeposit polish back onto your piece.Overall I am impressed with the durability of them. Have been able to polish everything that I intended with only a single wheel and it's still in quite good condition.

I just happened to run across this looking for something else and had to try it with nothing specific in mind when I purchased. The day it arrived I had removed seat out of my race car. The seat is all aluminum with a snap in cover. I race on dirt in a car that's open meaning no windshield or windows. Needless to say after being raced probably 50 times since new the seat looked 50 years old. With a Polisher on a drill this is a major task to get it back to decent shape. This disc on a grinder with a fairly light touch the inside and out looked chrome in less than an hour. Since everytime I go work on car I can't help to find something on it and polish it. They also hold up much better than I figured turning at that speed. It's definitely well worth it. One of my favorite purchases. Don't apply a lot of pressure especially on the finishing touches for a mirror finish. It's changed my outlook on polishing great product.

I have been using these on polishing aluminum metal and wax to a bright shine, and have only worked with one so far as they last a long time and are very durable.

These flap disks do a good job of making easy work out of polishing metal. Just be careful, don,t put too much pressure on the angle grinder because the flaps will start to fall apart. Lite pressure is the best way to get the most from these wheels.
