makes a god slurry for polishing, but it takes some getting used to to get the proper mix.

I used this to polish the Frog Prince Dice I made in resin. The end result was a highly glossy look with minimal manual labor. I only used a microfiber towel and elbow grease. A little of this paste goes a long way so don't use too much. The applicator makes it very easy to squeeze out just the amount you need. I do advice wearing gloves while using the product.

I purchased this for sharpening/polishing wood carving chisels, wood plane blades & knife blades with metal diamond plates for sharpening. I found when adding it to 1000-2000 grits diamond plates it really helps in getting me a nice, clean, sharp edge on all of my blades & chisels. Decent price for the little amount they give u when comparing to prices of other diamond compounds. Wish I could get a larger amount for same price but inflation has screwed us all. Thanks capitalism, bs.

This was my first diamond paste that I have bought so take my review with that in mind. But I was surprised by how well this stuff works on knives. I like that it is pretty obvious that it works as you can see the grey material traces on the leather strop. What I do like is that a little bit of paste has Ben good for several knives and I don’t think I’ll have to add some anytime soon. I love the idea that this strop will be the same for a long time and letting me use the same finish on my knives.

I use diamond paste for stropping the burr off the edge of my knives, chisels, plane irons, etc. after sharpening. It's a superior method to polishing compounds and I find it to be a bit less messy and a little faster. I have used several different vendors of the paste in the past and, if I am being honest, have really not detected a whole lot of difference regardless of the price. It seems obvious that a better paste is going to contain a higher concentration of more uniform diamond...but I have yet to have picked up on a difference. I am a steel geek and have some very nice knives from old, carbon-steel beauties to swedish mountain-knife beasts to japanese super-steel blades forged in the same place swords used to be made. Basically I'm saying that I do a fair amount of sharpening of very hard metal. Diamond stones and grits are a god send for working on these edges. (Incidentally, this is the only carbon allotrope that I will ever buy!)I used this paste to strop the edge on my trusty old Benchmade Griptillian. It did a great job and took it from frighteningly sharp to soul cleaving. The majority of the work is done by the stones, but this last little touch absolutely requires a strop. Fwiw, I tend to keep 3.0, 1.0, and 0.5 micron pastes on hand to charge my various strops. This paste did a great job and I think it is the sweet spot for a knife and will work for all the cutting edges that I own. It's a good value for the money and I'm happy to have it!Happy sharpening and keep those fingers off the board and out of the way!

I tried this SCOTTCHEN Diamond Polishing Paste,14,000 Grit on my daily wear class ring that has a badly chipped glass stone. I used a clamp to hold my ring and a dremel tool with a small ½ inch polishing wheel. Using tiny amounts of the paste on a popsicle stick I loaded up the polishing wheel and polished only one side of the stone to be able to see the difference between sides. The stuff works. I could see results after the first pass. I stopped when the pad start to run dry, and load tiny amounts using the stick to spread and push the paste into the polishing pad. After a few times the pad would appear wet when first touched to the stone and the pad started to darken. All good signs that it was doing its job. I did get many of the surface scratches out of the glass and polished the clipped sites so not as noticeable and I can see the sparkle again. I quickly decided to polish to the entire stone. I used maybe a 2 inch line of paste out of the syringe. Had I kept going I know I could get even more out with time but I’m good with the cleaner look now. Nice polishing paste for small jobs.
