Thank goodness my 60 year old mustang didn't sag so bad that I had to use heavy tools to make this fit. It's in. I can tell the difference when driving. The added support is peace of mind. If this bar got negative reviews it's from user error. The dimensions are perfect. FULLY RECOMMENDED!

I have owned this car for almost twenty years now and it has never driven better than it does with this Monte Carlo bar. This will stiffen the front end way more than you will expect. Makes steering easier and more pointed. Also significantly reduces body roll and understeer. Great value for the money. Exact right length for factory spec! Would recommend to anyone with a classic mustang!

Purchased this for my 66 mustang coupe. Seems to be well made. My only problem is it did not come with hardware. I was assuming it did. After going back to the product description it did not mention anything about hardware. I’ve seen where these are hard to fit in some mustangs but my car must be pretty straight as it slid right into place. 4 stars due to the lack of hardware to finish the job. Seems like something that should be included.EDIT: After checking out the Scott Drake web site I found that it says “hardware not included” and also it is cheaper. So if you plan to purchase this well built product just keep all that in mind.
