I bought my first one of these over 8 years ago, and it’s still working. I keep it at home, and I recently bought another to keep at work, since I am a teacher.On both machines, the foldable tray (where you place the papers before they enter the laminator) is weak and often collapses at the hinge, so I have to hold it by hand, but the laminator itself continues to heat up and do what it should.

This laminator works fine with whole pages, but if you put pieces inside the laminator pouch & try to laminate that way, it doesn’t work as well. It’s best to cut any papers after you laminate them with this machine so the laminator doesn’t bunch up the laminating pouch when it goes through. I’ve laminated a few things now, including our homemade alphabet flashcards, & they’re still holding up well 4 months later!

I never used this, but my wife asked me for a second one. She loves it, and uses it weekly. The other one she has still works, and it's been about 10 years. The final product always looks professional. I had planned on purchasing a more expensive one to impress her, but she insisted on this one. Win-win. 😊

as a newbie i was very anxious to try laminating at home but its is *almost foolproof. As long as you follow the simple instructions and guide the page through it works amazing every time. I use this to create learning materials and resources for my toddler and students highly recommend

This is excellent value for the cost (I paid $30). It’s compact and does take 5 min to heat up but works very effectively once it’s hot z. I found it was best with 3mm thick sheets and I didn’t need to put the sheets through with any kind of protective cover. The plastic is a bit flimsy but I didn’t expect it to be office grade for what I paid for. I would highly recommend

Product was all I could have hoped for. Very user friendly and easy to use. Takes around the 5 minutes to warm up and turns off on its own after being on for over 30 minutes which is helpful if you forget that you left it on, kind of annoying if you are laminating a lot of pages as then it has to preheat again. Otherwise amazing product. Love that it can laminate full page papers as well as small pictures.The price is also a steal at 35$ as laminating multiple pages at staples would end up costing you more in the long run, by buying the laminator you can laminate an unlimited amount of paper for a fraction of the cost.

This is an okay unit. It's easy to use. It works well. If you need to laminate a few things every so often it works well and it nice to have. The laminating sheets, and other consumables for this unit are affordable and easy to find for sale. If you buy one you will probably fine uses for it. It's small and lightweight so it's easy to store away when you don't need it.The 5 minute warm up takes at least 5 minutes, so don't be in a rush when you want to laminate something. It also give off an odour. Maybe this dissipates with use but I don't use mine much.For it's price, and size it earns it's stars. For the warm up and laminating speed coupled with the odour it loses one star.

If you have to do more than 10 lamination at your local store for example, Staples, then think again!. 10 lamination at staples will cost you about 30-40$ which is already the cost of this machine, and let me tell you that even tho this machine is budget friendly, it is made to last and be used with no drawbacks, definitely something that is worth buying if you do lots of lamination.Build and quality: I will say this straight forward, the build quality of this machine is cheap, the cheapest it can be, however it is functional and does the job. when heated up, it will give you a bit of weird odor momentarily and then it fades, but hey after all you are paying only 29.99$, so you can skip on complaining about the build quality. The machine it self becomes hot when used, but it is not as hot to the degree where you burn your hand.Functionality and features: so here is what makes me love this machine, such machine will take a space on your desk while you use it relatively less than other things that are on your desk, so the design of this machine is made such so you can move it around or store it in a compact form, the cable has a place to hide while not in use, and if you are willing to put it in a corner, you can put it up vertically to save space, the inlet of the device has a plastic guider which can be opened up to put your lamination pouch and make it go in straight, you also have a handle on one side which makes you hold it and move it around without burning your hand or feeling the heat.To operate, you have to connect it and turn it on for about 5 minute to heat it up, you also have to choose the pouch, 3 mil or 5 mil, and then simply insert the pouch containing the sheet of paper into the inlet, easy as that and you can payoff the machine cost by doing about 10-15 lamination, that would cost around the same at your local store.Pros:FunctionalPortableBudget friendlyCons:Smells bad while heating upMade off a cheap plastic but acceptableLet me know if this review was helpful by hitting the helpful button :)
