I was surprised to open the package and see this speaker Adapters came in four pieces. I thought they were single pieces of two but it turns out that indeed they were broken in half and they don’t fit for crap. I would give a zero review if I could. One can clearly see these will not line up with any of the holes to securely attach the speaker and if they did, the vibration would be horrendous. I will be returning these for sure.

Amazon says item does not fit my 2016 Dodge Durango but the pictures say it does. Just need to trim back 2 tabs on the adapters a little and fits perfect. Quality is what you would expect for the price. Not the best but does the job

I used these for installing speakers in the soundbar of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Long story short, they work, but the quality is really disappointing. First the plastic is not strong at all. I was trying to cut off the tabs that needed to be removed. In the process of doing the very first tab the ring snapped in half as I tried to cut the tab along the score line with some nippers. I tried to use super glue and accelerator to fix the break, but the plastic did not fuse together. Fortunately I was able to make it work by attaching the speaker at multiple points around the bracket. The reall issue is that there are multiple tabs that need to be removed, so it was a pretty tedious process. Not only that, the edges looked like crap, which was a drag because they aren’t hidden well at all by the speaker’s trim ring. The alignment for the adapter bracket was great for the speaker, but didn’t line up well with the mounting points on my Jeep. I was able to make these work, but couldn’t use the factory speaker grills so the tabs are visible. At the end of the day, they worked to hold the speakers in place and I can deal with the minor cosmetic issues, but I feel that the quality of the product is pretty lacking.

Installed brackets on Kicker 6.75" speakers and mounted them in a 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade.Brackets are built well. Very sturdy. I had to use a pliers and SLOWLY apply pressure on the inner tabs to brake them off. Listen, it's plastic, you have to go slow and use pressure, and wiggle and for the longer tabs, grip one side, then the other side.I used 4 sets of bots, washers, lock washers and nuts on each speaker bracket. I did have to dremel the vehicle doors to accommodate the smaller bracket bolts. I just cut small V's in the door.Pictures show it all.

A great adapter ring. In hindsight if I had the shop tools I could have made this myself but for the almost plug and play convenience this is a winnner.

I purchased the adapters because I upgraded my rear speakers on 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. These adapters are a must because mounting the aftermarket speakers would be nearly impossible without them.I have to admit that although installation was easy and took under 30 minutes on each rear door, it required extra steps, so this is not a "plug n play" for the Jeep. The outer 3 holes on the adapter align perfectly to the Jeep's door but the inner set of holes is where you would encounter trouble. The inner holes are used to fasten aftermarket speakers to the adapter. The problem is the SCREWS to fasten the speakers to the adapter will protrude on the back side of the adapter and will not allow for the adapter to fit flush against the door. To fix this problem, after fastening the aftermarket speakers to the adapter I used a grinder to grind the protruding screws down to a nub. Then, the speaker/adapter fit flushed against the Jeep's door and installation was a success!!I'm giving this product 4 stars because it is not a straightforward install.
