The dash install kit itself works fine for my 2009 Chevy Cobalt following the instructions and cutting off the bottom tabs on the dash install kit. however both the wiring kit included both and antenna adapter will not work for cobalts / g5's 2007 or newer as the plug end is different. And will most likely require a $100ish dollar harness adapter to maintain chimes and the need to not tap into the fuse box to run accessory (red) wire as it's data driven. As an example a proper harness would be Scosche GM3000SWF. There are other options as well. This is just the one I chose for my car.

This took about 5 seconds to figure out and instal on new radio for 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. I recently used a different brand on my suburban and it was a real pain.This is the one to get.

Don’t even fit my truck at all. I look at the cars it fits a terrain. I guess the false advertisement hasn’t changed.

I bought this for me nieces car. It fit perfect and had no problems with the installation process. It will depend on the radio you use on if you need to customize it though. I had to shave an edge on the trim ring for the volume knob. But that was because of the radio she bought.

The mounting portion is pretty decent, I’d give that an 8/10. The wiring portion is not good. Only 2 of the pins were in the correct spot, all the others, literally ALL, I had to remove from the connector body and put in the correct locations to match to the factory harness. Not a big deal, just remove the gray retainer, and each wire comes out with a light tug, and go back in just as easy.

Frame does not fit 7 inch double din and had to be cut out more.Wiring harness did plug in but the wiring was not in proper places. (pins missing for all 4 speakers)Had to hard wire all cables and byp.assed this harness completely.antenna was the only one that plugged right in.Bottom line wiring hanress is not for what the packages describes...be aware

This kit fit well in my Pontiac G6 but did not fit the new stereo. While I see this as a fault of the stereo manufacturer, I'm wondering if China, Asia, or the rest of the world has a Metric-based standard that isn't quite matching the double DIN 7" x 4" standard. The stereo is a few millimetres too wide and too tall so I had to cut the plastic along two edges (it's off-centre now but at least the two other edges are still perfectly straight). If there is another standard out there, close but not quite what we know as the industry standard, it would be great if Scosche (or Metra) would make a matching insert.

For some reason, Atoto A6 didn't fit 100% perfect. so I had to fiddle around for a while. but it was Atoto's a little weird design fault. Overall, it has good quality. Thank you.

I was worried buying this product having seen the reviews on here and other sites. But I didnt have many other options, I have a 2005 pontiac g6 gt and to do anything with the stereo on my car everything you buy aftermarket has to be a perfect fit. This fit perfectly for an aftermarket install of a pioneer double din dvd player. The only bad thing about this product is that the snap on trim is a little too big, but other than that it fits in my dash perfectly and securely.
