Good, thick rubber / silicon / whatever. Perfect fit, was able to get it between the back of my red dot and my rear sight.with minor effort (Glock 17 w/ suppressor sights).

Purchased as an extra red dot cover for a Vortex Venom that’s mounted on a Remington 1187 shotgun vent rib turkey gun. Gun gets slung over my back while walking in the dark thru timber, ag fields & creek bottoms. Very well made, heavy duty, fits tighter than the original Vortex red dot cover (no offense Vortex, love your products!). And the best part, MADE IN AMERICA! Not the usual MIC products were inundated with!Great job Dream Plastics LLC!!Wish I’d seen the pink model in your store first, I’d have gotten them, they standout better when you lose them!!

These fit great and are easy to remove. This cover is not for impact resistance but mainly for dust and rain, hence the amount you pay for it. It’s really just soft rubber cover

The photo depicts it on a Burris 300178 AR Prism Sight Ballistic Cq Reticle with Free Fastfire III Reflex Red Dot Sight, AR-536, 5x36mm, 3 MOA with Picatinny Mount, Matte Black bought here on amazon. Great deal by the way for $389.It fits righteously - Snug but not a hassle to slip-on or off.I also recommend a Pelican 1010-025-120 Micro Case 4.37X2.87X1.68In, ($12.35). It's great to store and carry your Fastfire III sunshade, spare battery, and miscellaneous accoutrements. The adjustment tool shown in the photo's for a Crimson Trace LASER, it's mounted on the other side.Safe and fun shooting and don't forget to support the NRA.

Why Burris decided to ship the Gen 3 FastFires with a see-through mailbox instead of a protective cover is beyond me. The cover from Dream Plastics fits very well and is more rubbery than hard plastic. The tab in the front makes it very easy to remove and the fit is snug enough that i don’t see it coming off accidentally. One thing i don’t understand is why it has a cut out for the FastFire controls? If you can’t see the screen what good does access to the buttons do? It’s a great cover. Im very happy with it.
