Caution when purchasing this jack. There is a plastic part where the bearings are encased near where you crank the jack that is faulty. I jacked my Ram truck up to remove my tire and put on the spare so could take my tire in for repair. I returned home and attempted to jack up my truck a second time. However, the jack only lifted the truck so far before it became EXTREMELY resistant to cranking. Upon inspection, there were several bearings and some bits of plastic scattered around the jack as you can see from the pictures. I had to use another jack to lift the truck so I could safely remove this jack from underneath my truck. While the jack may be rated for 3 tons, the plastic parts will fail after minimal use leaving you with a jack that is non-functioning or too dangerous to operate safely.

The tool used to lift the jack is better than the one that comes with the car, good guality. The gloves are of average quality, it is not a non-slip glove. For the price, I have no complaints.

Doesn't fit E90 lift points. Seems good quality. Little bigger than anothers scissors jack.

The car jack is sturdy, and the yellow wrench makes it easy to lift. The swiveling head is very convenient as well. The wrench on the other hand is a piece of junk. It's a struggle to use, compared to better quality ones. The problems are as follows: (1) The wrench is not at a 90 degrees angle from the wheel. It's like 120 degrees. As a result, the leverage to tighten or un-tighten nuts is a disaster. (2) Sockets do not fit snugly into the wrench. Therefore there's a lot of "slack" when using the wrench which makes it harder to tighten the nuts with force. (3) As other reviewers mentioned, the sockets are not deep enough to provide enough surface contact with the nuts. Consequently, the sockets come off the nuts too easily as you apply force to tighten or un-tighten the nuts.Purchase the for jack, definitely not for the wrench.

I had recently replaced the run flat tires on my car with standard tires, needless to say the car did not come with any tool to change tires. I therefore had to acquire a jack and a lug iron just in case I get a flat. Before I purchased this jack, I bought one of those cheaper one that rated for 2 tons. Figured it would be good enough. Wrong, the thing required a lot of effort to raise the car and eventually got stuck halfway. Good thing I had the sense to "rehearse" this in my garage before I actually need it on the road. I would have been stuck. I had decided to invest a bit more money for this 3-ton jack and boy did it make a huge different. This jack has exceeded my expectation in every way:- First of all it came with both the jack and the lug wrench with 4 different sizes of lug nuts. It came with a pair of glove too. Everything fits nicely in the included carrying case. The whole thing took up less room than an collapsible umbrella. On top of the Black Friday discount, this whole thing hardly cost more than the crappy 2-ton jack I bought before this.- It was made with thick gauge metal, it feels very solid and sturdy.- Here comes the good part, it was literally effortless to raise both my mid-size SUV and the big 4 door sedan with this jack. One interesting note: the effort requires to crank the jack up with load depends on the jack's starting point. The higher the starting point, the less effort it takes to raise the vehicle. Let me explain: with my SUV, it has a ground clearance of 7", so I had to hand crank it(by turning the nut with hand) for the first 7 inches then begin using the cranking bar from that point on to raise the SUV. It took about 80 of those 180-degree cranks (clockwise left to right) to raise the tire about 1.5" off the ground with literally NO EFFORT. I did not feel the load of the vehicle throughout the process! Lowering it was the same.As for the car, it only had a 3.5" ground clearance, so the starting point to crank is 3.5" lower than the SUV. It took only 3 min to raise the tire 1.5" off the ground (in an un-hurry fashion) but I did feel that I had to use a bit more labor to crank than with the SUV. But still very light effort at that (not out of breath or anything close to that). This was what I meant by "effort depends on the jack's starting point".In both cases, the motion of the jack was smooth throughout. As an insurance, I put a mini 3-oz can of WD-40 in the carrying case just in case the jack screw gets dry when I really needed it in the future. All in all, this is a great purchase for me and I feel safe traveling with it.

We just purchased a new car that isn't equipped with either a spare tire or jack equipment as a lot of new vehicles are these days. We've always done our own winter tire swaps although we are both seniors. We used the OEM jack equipment without any issues with all our previous vehicles. We were excited to receive the Autoins 3-ton scissor jack with accessories. We used it on the very first day to switch to our winter wheels-tires. When trying to lift the first wheel, we found it extremely difficult and very slow even with the included ratchet. I oiled the threads as instructed to no avail. It literally took us twice as long to do our first wheel as in the past. We persevered onto the 2nd wheel. We managed to lift the car with great difficulty high enough to swap the wheel after oiling the threads as instructed, but despite all the muscle we could muster, could not lower the car after the wheel was replaced. I had to borrow my neighbor's jack to lift the car high enough to get the Autoins jack out from underneath. Needless to say, this Autoins jack kit is heading back to whence it came. Hopefully, this is a defective unit and a one-off!!
