Gift for a 4 year old child. This will be a good educational gift for a child and will allow imagination and learning. Perfect size for small hands. It has both chalk and dry erase. It comes with colored chalk eraser and wipe off pen. I also bought extra chalk and pkg of 6 dry erase markers that washes clean from clothes & hands.

It's a great idea -- I wish the chalk board was plain. The small lettering was a real let down. But everything else good -- I use it for teaching online.

I ordered this chalk board for my almost 3 year old daughter as a Christmas present and she hasn't stopped playing with it yet! I've found that I even enjoy drawing on it myself.. this is the perfect gift for any child who loves to draw!Tips: You would need to prime the chalk board with white chalk before using. It does come with white and colored chalk and a small eraser that I found to work well.. however, I did end up buying the Melissa and Doug chalk and eraser pack since I knew my daughter would go through it so quickly and this pack came with a better eraser - I do suggest buying this pack when ordering the board.

This little case is so beloved. It's carried around with no problems by the 2 year old almost three little girl. She loves it. It keeps her really busy with the options to use the dry erase board or the chalk board. She used that dry erase pin up. But it's not a problem to restock her supplies because now she has a nice storage space that extremely handy. When its time everything is right there.

This is a nice, compact, portable form of entertainment. I agree with other reviewers who say to prime the chalkboard with included chalk before using. It really makes a difference. Price is good and it appears to be durable enough to last for a few years with intermittent use.

It's cheap intertainment for my 2 year old. And came in very handy for practicing spelling words for my 7 year old. It appears a little flimsy, but I've had it for almost a year now and it's still holding up just like the day I bought it. I do recomend this item.

For the price this is an okay toy. It has a chalkboard on one side and also includes a dry erase section, but I found both a little tricky to erase fully. I was hoping to use it for travel and keep my son's crayons, drawing items etc. but the most excitement he had was opening and closing it. I wish I would saved the money to our of the other more elaborate doodle type travel pads, more suited to a car seat. Our friends purchased another brand with more options and they rave about it. I can see why.
