Replaced my old Kenda K908 26" x 1.95" hybrid tires with these. Tire pattern looks much more aggressive and leans more toward off-road capabilities. The center pattern designed for road/pavement looks better than the Kenda at moving water out from the middle of the tire to reduce chances of hydroplaning. Outer pattern has thicker blocks, good for light off-road duty. The .05" difference is negligible.

Bought two of these tires to replace worn out ones. The tires are nicely packaged. They are thick where they need to be. Thread is ok for road use. Good value.

Needed a 20 inch tire to change on an older bike in storage for the grandkids so that when they come around, they have something to ride. Ended up needing 2 tires so I got another tire from Amazon a few hours later after fixing the first one. Went on easily, aired it up, test rode it, after some lube and preventative maintenance, in the neighborhood (with some neighbors wondering what this old guy was up to!?) and it rode like brand new. Great choice tire for general usage.

Le quedo a mi bici a la perfección, mi bici es una alubike urbana, ya necesitaba cambio de llanta trasera. Esta fue fácil de colocar, ha sido resistente, y a un buen precio.

Purchased a set of these to replace the general off-road/on-road tires that came with my 8-year old's bike. We live in a big city and primarily ride on pavement. These tires really helped reduce drag and my son found it a lot easier to pedal after the switch. They have a pretty good looking tread design too.

The photo is not what you get, tread looks wise, and that's not a bad thing. The tread is more directional and has a better water/sand channeling center without adding rolling resistance. For these, or any Kevlar beaded tire, I suggest grab one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C128PC/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me= at the same time. I've been using one of them for well over 20 years and they make short work of the super tight bead seating of a new Kevlar tire. Another tip is put enough air in the tube beforehand so it sits fully round but just barely, probably 1-2psi or so. It keeps the tube from pinching between the lever and rim. Tubes used to come covered in talc making things much more easy for even a novice to change their own stuff. Once the tire is on put about 20psi of air and thoroughly check the bead for correct seating. Do another partial fill to about 40 psi and check one more time. If it's got spots that aren't exactly seated by being too deep you can grab the tire and twist at the point where it's too deep and often feel it pop into perfection. The max on these is 75psi is why I suggested the numbers beforehand. For mountain bikes or others that use less maximum pressure, lower the numbers to about 10psi, then 20 psi before the maximum of~ 40-45.Anyway back to the tires.Once installed I took them out for a spin on my Schwinn hybrid and road only pavement. They were a smidge noisier than the oem ones with the Schwinn sticker but those were very noisy when they were new also. Traction in corners was nice and felt like they were one with the road. I found some long puddles and tried the center water shedding area and never felt like I was hydroplaning in the least. Sand and small gravel along roadsides was also not a problem like the originals sometimes were at low speed. I didn't notice any rolling resistance difference ,a surprise because the tread feels a little grippier when I rubbed my fingers across the tread before the ride.Time will tell how long the treads last but I really like how these tires handle so far. They handled rough , wet, and dirty pavement like it was clean, dry, and smooth. At the price Amazon is asking if they only last a few hundred miles I'll still consider them a good value.

Bought these for my 29er mountain bike for occasional road use when knobby tires are not practical. Changing tires is sort of a pain but for now it saves from buying another bike and I really like the ride of my mountain bike. These tires are 38mm in width and so they seem pretty narrow on my mountain bike. They do fit my 29er rims just fine. The inner tubes for my mountain tires were too big for these tires, so I had to purchase a smaller tube size. These tires roll smooth and fast on the road compared to my knobby tires (as one would expect). On the road they serve my purpose just fine. I haven't noticed any issues with the fit or shape of these tires when inflated. They don't wobble or any such thing. As far as easy trail and off-road use they are OK, but they are not for serious off-road use, and definitely not for mountain biking in any kind of rough terrain. If 25% or more of my total bike trip was mountain bike trails I would rather have my knobby tires on, even if my trip consisted of 75% road. But these tires handle easy trails pretty well. One thing to note is that because these tires are fairly narrow they don't do well on soft gravel, sand, or other soft surfaces as they tend to sink down. This makes peddling difficult. Again, my big, low pressure mountain tires are much better in these situations. These tires have pretty thick tread and so far I haven't gotten a flat. I haven't used them enough to see how they will wear, but so far I've not noticed any visible tread wear.Overall this is a good road and light trail tire at a bargain price.
