I am satisfied but I had to remove and readjust the front break. I was able to fix it and enjoy riding it and didn't see any other problems. It folds easily after I figured it out.

Is it a perfect bike? No. Is it a perfect folding bike? Yes. In my experience, this bike is a good commuter, with a couple of small drawbacks. I would have been happier if the handlebars were adjustable at all, and the rear brake cable needs a zip tie or a runner around it, as it keeps poking me in the calf. Other than that, really, it's everything I hoped for in a single speed folding bike.

After months of looking I found a fabric zipper case that fits the Schwinn Hinge:"Milliard Carry Case 4" Tri-Fold Mattress (Does Not Fit 6 inch) (cot)"aka "COMIN18JU070802"Other folks have reviewed the bike itself but no one could tell me where to find a good case for it!The silly bag that comes with this bike zips very oddly. I agree with other reviewers that it's almost impossible to get your bike into the Schwinn bag.The Milliard case zips all the way along 3 whole sides, it's a breeze to lay your folded Hinge gently down on one half of the opened case, then just zip it and tilt bike back up into standing position.Has three handles, on the top and ends. Personally, I lift by the two end handles, to spread the weight evenly. After all this thing is not designed to carry 32 pounds of metal. But it seems well constructed and will serve well for car trips. If you save the box your Hinge ships in, that's a good solution too, but the box takes up way more space than a bag.People have wondered what dimensions the bike folds down into. That's a tough question because of the way the handlebars flop over against the side of the bike. I hope my photo helps, I chose an angle where you can see it sort of resembles a giant wedge of cheese. Narrower at the hinge end, wider at the wheels end. 24" stool and ladies' shoes for scale.

Think before you buy. Great bike but consider storage, do you really need a bike, are you really going to make use of it. I didn’t and ended up giving it away. But if you fit all the former then this is a great folding bike.

Great bikes, I purchased two for riding with my girlfriend in Colorado. You just have to be a little handy when assembling. The fender brackets were a little tweaked from transport, so I bent them back in position using some tools any handyman would have. Other than that, they are well made and I’m glad I purchased them. Like that they can easily fold and transport in a compact car with gasoline prices as high as they are. Good luck, I would say give it shot, it beats buying a$500.00 bike at local bike shops.

Part of the Crankset teeth was dented on arrival, could be due to material handling during logistics. Easily fixed by bending with a plier. The steel material is selling point for comfortable and stable ride. The rear rack come handy for carrying bag.

I haven’t bought a petal bike in a long time. I am originally from NY but moved to cocoa beach FL and the big thing here is to ride a bike. I live in an apartment with not a ton of room, and the rain here has salt water in it so it can ruin your bike quickly. I also drive a small sedan, so the whole folding mechanic is super nice to have. It’s a great bike to ride through town but long distance and hills definitely not. I like the little rack thing in the back because i can put a tall boy white claw or my mini speaker in it. The style is retro and cool. Awesome bike!

I live in a city, and the reviews for this bike came recommended for plain surfaces and commuter distances. I bought the bike to go to the supermarket and back (3 miles each way). Before, I used my city's bike service. Assembling the Schwinn was easy and I already expected it to be a bit heavy (I didn't care). The problem with the bike does is not related to its assembly or weight: but its utility. On my first trial commute to the supermarket, I felt very insecure in the bike, since the structure isn't super steady and the bike is lighter than a regular bike. I thought it was a matter of getting used to it, so I kept biking to the supermarket. I stopped more than 8 times on the way there for feeling insecure riding it: brakes didn't work well, which made me scared to stop on red lights, structure felt fragile, which made me think my groceries would make the bike break, and most importantly, it took TWICE THE TIME it usually takes me to get to the supermarket. Would not recommend the bike for any situation, not even short, plain commutes. The bike is cute, but believe the bad reviews!

This bike was heavier than all my big 26" mountain bikes, which took up too much space... i have a small flight of stairs i have to carry my bikes to get to my 1st floor apartment, yet it was so heavy that i think it would be easier to go without it. It does take up less space in my apartment though and i love it for that, but it was just too heavy. It does feel like a very strong bike though.Showed up with a bent ring-wheel n the chain would fall off everytime you spun it using the paddle. It was just a delivery issue though. Refunding it...waiting for it... but glad they came to pick it up without hassle from my part. Very good bike only if you don't have to carry it, such as if you can ride and fold it n keep it in your garage or something without having stairs or small doors and tight hallways to squeeze and carry it through. If you have no stairs nor have to carry it much... than i give this bike a 4 to 5 stars rating.
