This was the first time my contractor used this product. The panels are very light weight. It does take some time to put the membrane up and thinset the screws and membrane, but it seems to be worth it.The kit is a little pricey, but worth it if the contractor is happy, right?

This kit is perfect for redoing your shower. The panels are light weight and easy to cut with just a utility knife. Plenty of screws, washers, and kerdi band are included. It’s expensive but we’ll worth it.

The kit was supposed to come with 140 screws and 140 washers. My box was unopened, but only contained 95 screws and 120 washers. Disappointed that after spending $540 I still had to go out and buy more screws and washers. As far as use goes, the panels are super easy to install.

This stuff is great, lightweight, easy to cut and install - makes waterproofing easier. It is pricier than regular sheetrock, but so much easier to deal with. Have done 2 showers this way.

This was my first tub and tile replacement. The Kerdi-Board is light and easy to work with. The grid lines printed on the product helps out immensely. The product was delivered on time, complete, and damage free. I'm happy with the end results of using this product. The only down side of this product is that it's very expensive.

This was such an easy product for DIYers to use! It is feather-light and much easier to cut and move around than cement board; the lines drawn on the foam boards make cutting a breeze and helps keep tile level. Plus, everything you need to complete the job is included.

I've installed a handful of showers and tubs over the years. Durock, Hardie Backer, RedGuard, and even the Kerdi membrane. They all have their pros and cons. But after spending a few extra dollars and going for the Kerdi Board system, I will never use anything else! Gone are the days of lugging heavy cement boards, cutting through cement with a knife, cursing at trying to cut a round hole in a piece of cement board...Pros:* The boards are SOOO light, but they are strong enough for 16" stud spacing. They feel secure when on the wall* The boards are SOOO easy to cut. Easier than drywall!* Easy to cut shapes. I used a Kerdi niche, and it looks great and was simple to install.* You can spackle over the board above the tile (if desired)* Totally waterproof/moldproof* Grid pattern makes laying tile faster to keep things level and plumbThe only real downside is that it is more expensive than Durock and the Kerdi membrane. But the time savings of cutting and getting it installed is well worth it in my opinion.
