- Huh? Why would you want such a thing? Well, if you've ever wanted to use one of our DACs with powered monitors, Sys puts the volume control right at hand. Same goes for using two sources with one of our headphone amps—use Sys to switch between a DAC and a phono preamp, for example. And, you don't have to use Sys with our gear at all. It's a simple, high-quality, passive preamp that works with pretty much any line-level source.

By “designed and assembled in USA" this is what we mean: the vast majority of the total production cost of SYS—chassis, boards, assembly, etc—goes to US companies manufacturing in the US. Our chassis are made minutes from our facility. Our PCBs are done just over the hill from us, or done in NorCal. You get the picture. - 2-Year Warranty
SYS is covered by a limited warranty that covers parts and labor for two years. That’s 2x the warranty of most of the products in this price range.

I'm using the Sys to connect my DAP and turntable into the back of my Marantz M-CR611 as it only has 1 analog input. The unit is very well made and I can detect no degradation in sound quality when in use.If you're considering purchasing one, my advice is go for it. I don't think you will regret it. Based on my experience with the Sys, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any Schiit products in the future.

I didn't realize that a preamplifier has no power but it works well with my Alyima t2 6k4 tube preamplifier and 2 crown xls2002 amplifiers as a volume control, it is very clean sounding and I am using it to keep my subwoofers level control, and it seems to be working great,

I am using this unit to control the volume of my home theater subwoofer. It is so much easier to adjust the volume with a knob, instead of a myriad of iphone apps included by Denon and SVS. I'm positive there are other cheaper solutions for this in the car audio world (IE PAC-1 which I've used several times) but this unit has a nice weight and looks good on the stereo rack. Perfection.

Had to do an odd wiring job for my TV, turntable, and speakers. This was the easiest and cheapest solution. I use it to switch the speakers from TV input to turntable input and just leave the volume knob in a mid setting. Works wonders. No issues after a year.

I have 2 integrated amplifiers but only 1 CD player. Got this preamp and hooked it up backwards so I could rout the output of the CD player to either amplifier. works great and not too expensive
