The booster feels extremely good on small edges that don't actually exist. Aswell the heels hooks feel completely bomber on these. I've owned these aswell a pair of solutions. I think the edging is noticably better on the booster, aswell as feeling more control on the toes. The straps feel secure and haven't broken. With the material being synthetic, they have a district strong odor. Compared to other climbing shoes.

I was looking to get a more aggressive climbing shoe for indoor bouldering and decided to get these. Perhaps my biggest concern was durability. I wanted a shoe that would last me for as long as possible (since I'm not made of money and can't buy new ones ever other month). After using for a couple of months they have stood up quite well. I still have lots of life left in them and they look barely worn at all. Compared to the instinct VSRs I own, they probably hold up better. The boosters are not without their cons, however.Sizing wise, I wear a 44.5 or 10 us in the instinct VSRs and got the same size for these. They fit well with no dead spots for me. I will say, the highly asymmetrical shape and aggressiveness make them more uncomfortable than the instincts (which makes sense) so probably not a pair you would go for if comfort is a primary concern. That being said, I wear them for about 15 minutes at a time before needing a break. They are quite grippy and are obviously best for a steep overhang climbing. They do work quite well for more slabby and less overhung routes though. Standing on small toe chips is fairly effortless your feet feel secure. I will say, if you climb on big slabby volumes, the instincts are more ideal and give you better control and security. Now! This was probably one area that I underestimated previously but the boosters excell at ventilation especially compared to the instincts. Ultimately, that means your feet don't reak after you've used the shoes for a month. After a couple months of use without washing they will start to smell but it is nothing compared to the instincts. Way to go scarpa! I Didn't even know I cared until the boosters.I'm conclusion. These are great shoes to use indoors! They are durable, breathable, and ideal for overhangs while still being versatile. They are a softer shoe than the instincts so maybe less ideal for big guys like me (6' 2" and 200lbs) but they definitely are worth it if you're looking for a bit more performance.Hope this helps. Enjoy the climbing journey!

I bought some of these after owning the Scarpa Instinct VS. I had the instinct size 41. They were a little tight, so I bought these at a size 41.5. They fill a little tighter, though it may be because they haven't been worn in yet. I love the design and the flexibility of the shoe!
