Yes, it is polyester and doesn't breathe well. Nevertheless it is a nice style of shirt and made well, and can be dressed up or down. I'm happy with my purchase and would buy more from this manufacturer.

This blouse is absolutely stunning. The material is so soft and the ruching is amazing. Love that you can wear off shoulder and it actually stays or you can pull up on shoulders. Can't wait to wear this. Such a great blouse for the cost.

Wore my shirt with my Ren Faire outfit and it worked perfectly! Very comfortable, elasticity was good (a smidge tight around my arms but nothing too horrible), and I like the feel of it. The top bust area is lined so it’s not see-through if someone wanted to wear an under-bust corset with it, it would work great. Also my two friends in the picture with me also bought Scarlet Darkness dresses to go under their corsets and now I need to look for those!

This was a perfect solution for me and my costume. It's a double layer top so no worries in seeing anything thru it - game changer. I'm a large bra size and this shirt can diminish or accentuate your lady bits as you see fit. You can have lots of cleavage if desired or none. I choose to diminish as it's a family festival. This shirt fit perfectly under my corset and kept it proper to wear in front of family. The fabric is very nice and durable. You can wear off shoulder or on shoulder and stays put. The length of shirt on the waist was perfect for me to tuck in the waistline - also long enough to have out and not raise up too much when lifting my arms. All around, perfect multipurpose shirt. 100% recommend

This top is double lined and beautiful. I love the elastic at the waist, though I have a long torso and large bust, so it didn't sit exactly where I wanted, but it was still flattering.My only complaint with this is, the way the shoulders are attached, it makes it difficult to raise your arms. If I could have I would have gone up a size, but scarlet darkness' size offerings are limited. I wore this to my first ren faire and it held up well.

I wore this as part of my Renaissance Faire outfit as a celestial witch, and it was SO COMFY. I combined it with a corset and it provided just the right amount of coverage and flair to elevate my look. The fabric is a little cheap feeling, but the look is fantastic and it held up just fine, so I have no issues with it at all. So glad it came in black which was just what I was looking for, as my outfit is all dark blues. Definitely happy to have this as an addition to my look!

I bought a medium. It was v comfy for all day wear - I wore it outside all day at the Ren Faire. Didn’t have any issues with breathability of the fabric and the sleeves weren’t too tight. It is sorta difficult to take off bc the material around the chest and arms is not stretchy at all so there will need to be some maneuvering. Keep that in mind if you have sensory issues with that sort of thing. Overall it was a great purchase that I’ll be wearing again to the next Ren Faire!
