Pressure sterilized this. Residual moisture rusted it.

The handle feels comfortable in the hand which should make it safer to use that one that feels awkward. I've only used it a few times, but so far I like it.

The tip is still partially fused. The blade will not snap in. It gets stuck. Hard to get off even with a blade disposal. Be careful, could lose a finger if it slips. It's five bucks and I need to drive to UPS to get it back.Do not buy this item. Seller sucks too.

A positive grasp on a dangerous tool. Love the weight and heft of this scalpel. I use it for hobby airplane building, easy blade changing.

This is a great value for the money. Blades fit the handle nicely.

A real solid stainless steel handle for durability, finish good enough for a hobbyist, and holds blades firmly. Only complaint was the long shipping/transit time - at least I wasn't in urgent need of it when I ordered. A much better purchase than the more expensive yet far more fragile Swann Morton handle which is made of pressed or cast material and broke upon first drop.
