Beyond Efficiency

Not all Maximum Power Point Tracking controllers were created equally. Efficiency and reliability are not common features. Blue Sky Energy designed the first MPPT controller in 1998 and our installations in the field make us proud. Available for lead acid and lithium battery or can be programmed through a remote display or Bluetooth adapter.

IPN connectivity

Networkable

The IPN Network interface can communicate with other seven (7) Blue Sky Energy charge controllers synchronizing the charge as a single system, allowing increased flexibility and optimization in system design. The IPN network Master-Followers can be also monitored via a remote display or Bluetooth adapter.

BSE applications

Dual Battery For RVs/Marine

All the Blue Sky Energy MPPT charge controllers are capable of charging a second battery through its programmable auxiliary output. This feature along with the IPN connectivity to monitor data with a remote e display or the Bluetooth adapter, make them ideal for RVs and Marine application.

After twenty years the old soler controller stopped working, I needed a replacement. I wanted the same brand, I did not were I was going to find one, I found one on Amazon. This solar controller works well, I still need to figure out how to use some of the new programable options, such as equalize the batteries. this new controller will handle more amps from the solar panels. The down side to it is that the size of the unit is larger (deeper) than the old unit. It won't fit into the wall, the R.V. walls are thin, but I will go to the hardware store and get some wood and screws, and make a frame for it.

I have had four Blue sky controllers and love their products. Little pricey but worth it.

Used this to replace a non-MPPT charge controller so that I could get more power out of a 100W panel. What I would REALLY want is two 100W panels in series (not parallel so that one shaded doesn't affect the other) and then use the MPPT to optimize, but the flexible panels I am using on an RV are 20-22V OCV, and that exceeds their recommended max input.Hopefully the next version will take in up to, say, 60VDC OCV. But still five stars because it never claimed to do that, and is solid and performs as expected.

My BlueSky SB2000 finally started giving me problems after 16 years of being in service in 2 of our RV's. I replaced it with the 30001 as the 2000i is no longer in production (can you believe that?). Now what makes this solar charger better than most for me? I am a ham radio operator and have HF set up in my RV. The first BlueSky Solar Boot I bought has a the Yuma Arizona Hamfest in February of 2006, it produced little to no noise on my HF radio and continued to serve me faithfully for the following 16 years. So far, no noise in my HF radios both in the RV and in the house (my RV is parked very close to out house).

I was first introduced to this product by my Grandfather. If your like me Grandparents are wise and really know what’s best. I purchased a new RV and the dealer installed 400 watts of solar and a cheap go power charger. I was within the first few uses and realized i needed a better controller. I have had several of the 3000I controllers and after changing this out I can tell you there was a major difference. The product easily gets a 5 star rating.I have on several Instances called the manufacturer to get help designing different systems. The knowledge and willingness to help has been over the top amazing. The customer service I have received from them is way more than 5 stars. Amazing company and great products.

So far I love this product. I only bought it because it fits my old flush mount controller cut out and for the customizable charge profiles and temperature compensation for my Firefly carbon foam batteries and didn’t think I would see a big boost in charging amperage. I see a BIG boost in charging amperage. Like 30% plus across the board from my old PWM go power controller. Under the best conditions with my old controller I saw around 8 amps. It is not uncommon now to be charging above 12. Awesome product

I finally tried to replace my Solar Boost 2000e solar charge controller today with this unit and it does not work, completely dead. I installed it correctly and it never worked at all.

This is a major upgrade over my old Go Power PWM controller. This controller allows me to set the bulk, absorption, and float charge voltage rates according to the battery manufacturer's recommendations and also set the time limit in the absorption mode. It also will default back to the bulk rate when necessary. This is my fourth solar controller used in various camping trailers and by far the most efficient. I have used the controller for the last eight months.I also purchased the wall box (Blue Sky Energy SB2000E Wall mount box, 2.75" Deep, #720-0011-01Sold by: Unlimited Solar, Inc) for the controller as my trailer wall was not thick enough for a flush mount. It works well also. The only negative from my viewpoint is that now Amazon is selling it for about $20 less than I paid.
