If you played with stomper 4x4 battery powered trucks when you were a kid, this is the closest thing I have found to them. Runs on one AA battery.

These trucks are powerful and only take one AA battery! Fast and strong and you can connect them with Legos! Very happy with purchase!

These work well as replacements or additions for magic tracks cars. They light up and go pretty fast on the tracks. They require one double A battery each. They seem to burn through batteries pretty fast. A few hours of play may necessitate a battery change. The button to turn these on is a small switch on the underside of the car. So, that is different from the magic tracks cars which have a large push button on top of the car. Some children may have trouble powering them on this way. As fun as they are, care needs to be taken with children who have longer hair. One of the little ones I shared these with accidentally got their hair wound up in one of the wheels. Needless to say, it was pretty frightening for all involved and panful for the child. Thankfully, the wheel was easily removed to free the hair. Keep this in mind when considering this toy.

Bought these to replace broken cars from my grandson’s flexible track. The listing shows them being used with a flexible track but they were a bit too wide for some pieces with the one my grandson has. He enjoys playing with them, they work well and he uses them with the track pieces that they fit on and leaves out the ones that don’t. The measurements of the cars are given in the description so my recommendation is to measure your track width (all sections and pieces) before purchasing.

I recently ordered a dinosaur track set for my kids. The kit came with two dinosaur shaped cars which each required two AAA batteries and chewed through them pretty quickly. I decided to order these trucks to have some extras, and because they match the dinosaur theme. I really like that these trucks only require one AA battery each, and I like that they look like real vehicles- they definitely have an old "Dodge" them going in my opinion. These trucks are faster than the other vehicles and run a lot more quietly too- they also seem to have a better run time. The stickers are a bit of a pain to apply but once they're on they stick well.One of the trucks had an exposed/pinched wire but it didn't interfere with its functionality. It was bothering me though so I took it apart with the included screwdriver to correct the issue. The screwdriver is surprisingly nice as well, the black part on the end can freely turn, allowing the user to turn the screwdriver while holding it in place with their palm.A particularly nice feature is that Lego bricks work with these trucks, which is great because they're actually a bit too wide for the dinosaur track set I have. The width of the trucks is correct in the add, but I wrongly assumed that the track pieces were more-or-less standard so I didn't pay much attention to it. Even though these trucks won't work with my track, the kids are having a great time using them with their legos.
