This product is not good quality. It was ridiculous to put together. Took hours! Pieces everywhere. The top slides open instead of the drawers. Really disappointed. Too had damage right where it is visible.

Once put together, the product is nice and sturdy. The directions are thorough but putting it together is tedious. It takes a good four hours of your time and having two people work together helps to endure the pain of it all. In hindsight, we would have spent an extra $200 to have selected a piece of furniture already put together. The top rolls out, supposedly space to hide the wires of tv and equipment. In our opinion, this is wasted space. We would rather have had the use of three draws at the top of the unit. Be sure and put the unit together on carpeting to prevent scratching the surface.

This is a very nice credenza. We received it with the box damaged, but it was packaged well enough that none of the pieces were damaged. This appears to have been manufactured with above average materials.This is being used as an office credenza. It is not perfect for that use since the top drawers do not open - instead the top opens. This means that anything stored on top of the credenza must be moved off before the top can be lifted and papers removed. That is the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Had we researched this more carefully, we would have seen that the top lifts up (it is clearly stated on Amazon). Other reviews have also listed this, so it is our error in not reading more carefully.

Beautiful desk. I'm taking points off for the fake drawers. The top of this pulls out and that's the only way to get into the space underneath. Which is really limited!! What exactly were you thinking, Sauder, when you designed this item? I advise anyone interested in purchasing this to go to the Sauder site and look at the photos of the desk- they include photos of the space beneath the pull-out top, which is much more helpful than Amazon's photos.Fairly easy to put together, but is extremely heavy. Hard to screw the door hinges on.

I loved the coloring and look of the woodworking so I decided to order for my new office my husband was building for me. It was delivered as expected but unfortunately the office wasn't done yet. In May the delivery company unloaded on the pallet with the other pieces I ordered and put in the garage, where we left it, until the the office was finished. Well we all know life's up and downs and remodeling older homes never goes as planned. With out getting into too much detail my husband wasn't able to get the project done as soon as we hoped. Now that it's ready we opened the box and started to sort out the parts for assembly, we found a major piece was broken. Now mind you the product has been in the exact same place since it arrived, undisturbed, on the pallet it was delivered in. We opened it where it's been, due to the weight of the product, then carried the individual pieces in. The last piece part "O", which is a very important piece was broken in several spots. I know it's too late to return, but I hope it may be remedied soon. My advice for everyone is even if your not ready, open and inspect your product immediately. I'm puttin two stars for now, as Amazons part in this was good, the delivery company was good, I just have to wait to speak with Sauder and what the remedy will be. I will update my review during the process.

Beautiful additon to my home. My old desktop computer desk was outdated and no longer necessary with a laptop, so this is the perfect piece to accommodate my printer, and providing a space to charge my laptop, ipad and other electronic devices. There are two small flaws on back top piece that I did not notice unitl it was put together, however, I have not yet had a chance to contact Sauder or the seller about replacing that piece, so I don't know if I will have any difficulty getting that resolved.

Awesome piece of funiture!! The cherry wood is exactly as advertised. Unfortunatley when I received it some of the longer pieces were broken but I went online to sauder and the replacement pieces came in less than a week. It took me maybe 4 hours to put together without help. Ratcheting screwdriver was very helpful when putting this together. I love the roll out top so everything is always put away.

The laptop credenza is beautiful. The seller was a joy to work with and speedy in product delivery. When I opened the box, one of the pieces of the credenza was broken, but Sauder remedied that within 5 days and now I have a fantastic looking home office.
