First, as several other reviewers have commented, this product comes in a LOT of pieces - a LOT! Do not discount this or think it is an exaggeration. It is not. Secondly, it is a two person job that takes a couple of hours minimum and you will more than likely want to take a break or two. It is recommended to assemble it on carpet so that you don't scratch up your flooring. We put down a felted moving blanket as an alternative. After finishing assembly, it was evident that not all pieces/angles were flush. My husband and I have assembled multiple pieces of furniture over the years and while this is a nice design, the construction leaves something to be desired. We also found that the enclosed hardware (which is in abundance) was missing a part.Having assembled it fully, I believe it will hold up for the time that we use it. I'm not sure how it would fare if moved. The back of the unit is in multiple pieces and the center piece is held together only by wooden dowels. The rest of seems fairly sturdy.I believe the quality can vary. Some reviewers note hassle free assembly with all parts/components fully present and lined up perfectly. Ours didn't quite hit the mark.It was a purchase for a home office space and so far, so good.

The screws are too small to hold in many of the openings. I will need to take a piece and screw to a hardware store to get some smaller screws, which is a burden as I’ve suffered a disability. This piece is was too expensive considering the laborious assembly and cheap particle board. Regrettable purchase.

These units appear to be decent quality. The sections and parts seem to fit well. Have been using them for 9 months as a supplement to our kitchen cabinet and counter space. They are pricey but given the better than average quality, are serving our needs well.

Great for storing vinyl -- easily fit 4 milk crates worth of albums into each side (with the shelves removed -- I chose not to put them in). The hardware is very nice and the drawers and middle shelf slide very smooth. It does come in a lot of pieces -- a little bit over two hours to assemble (using a power drill despite directions saying not to) with no problems, pieces fit together nicely. I did this by myself. Highly recommended for the price, looks great!

I have a couple pieces of this collection. The design is clean and nice and I very much like the mid-century-modern look. I would say assembly difficulty is medium due to the number of parts (assembly takes a couple hours), but assembly was straightforward and I didn't have any problems with either piece. The pieces are sturdy and I expect a couple decades of use at least (given my experience with past assembled furniture).

There are A LOT of pieces to this as referenced in other reviews. I took the easy way out & hired someone to put this together for me. I absolutely love the color & have 2 additional pieces from this line. I previously tried putting the desk together, which is why I knew I wasn’t going to put this piece together. So if you’re going to put it together yourself, make sure you have a lot of time because you will need water breaks. Food breaks. Sighing & crying breaks. The piece is sturdy, BUT there is always that one piece that will give you issues. On this one, it’s one of the doors. I can live with it though. This piece offers a lot of storage space as well. OH, & I know the directions say don’t use a drill. I’m not saying use a drill, but if you don’t it could take you 7 years to put this together. LOL!

Solid piece of furniture for the price and good instructions to the somewhat lengthy assembly. Loved the part in the guide that told me to take a break and have some nachos! Looks great in my office, great glider printer shelf.

This was easy to put together, but time consuming. It took two of us about 2 hours. The overall product is solid and looks great. The drawer and door pulls are more of a bright gold than I was expecting and there are holes in the top for cables that I was not expecting. The top holes have black plastic inserts like a desk to close the hole or to open it for cords passing through. There are also three holes on the back of the unit for cords, one in each cabinet and one in the open middle area. There are stickers which you use to cover up the cams after assembly. They are printed with a wood pattern and they are all on the interior of the unit, so they are fine. Our stuff will eventually cover the stickers.Time will tell how well the finish holds up, it appears thin, but it seems fine. All in all I would purchase this again.

This unit fit my needs for my home office, for a great price. I received it yesterday and it took me about 5 hours to put it together myself (as an older woman). The directions were spot on, all parts were there and it really was less challenging than I thought it would be.I was also pleasantly surprised at how nice the finish is. I thought it would just be the typical paper laminate but this is a step up as it has a grainy feel to it too!It is a little darker than the photo but has nice variations of color to it so it matches my Pottery Barn desk and chair anyway...
