There’s. Nothing holding the blade in place, other than one screw. So the blade swings freely. Maybe it’s designed that way for some reason. I can’t see why. I’ll try it out and see if it’s going in the trash or not

Unit is handy size for my use; taking the heads of Med-Lg Tuna and Swordfish. Blade will pivot out of top guide bar and anchor thumb screw is removable. Several searches on amazon and using google did not find a replacement blade offered. $15 bucks for the unit not really an issue!

Used a couple of times. Its was very difficult to saw through bones. The handle was to small and uncomfortable.I gave up on the third set of rib bones. The saw was to dull to complete the job. I bought a good hacksaw at Hardware store and easily sawed through the bones. Best bet is to use a hacksaw.

13" TOTAL length.The handle was made for a small child. I butchered a 100lb pig with this. Did the job, but got a few blisters. The handle grip digs into your palm, so I'll probably cut it off with a grinder. I would recommend maybe just a pocket saw over this thing.

I've owned one of these bad boys for years and years and it's one of the best things you can have in your car or kit when you accidentally kill someone in a fistfight. Why, it's so sharp I once accidentally dismembered a guy I'd accidentally killed and after I'd used it to dismember him, I accidentally carried him out of my house (to where I'd accidentally lured him with the promise of getting him some legal paperwork he needed) in a series of duffel bags. This probably works for hunters, too.
