Initial first impressions are great. This seems to have an inbuilt battery and supports MagSafe charging. The instructions to register with find my was easy and simple. No hassles. I got two of them, for me and my better half. Definitely recommend this.

I use this to keep my credit cards and passport protected and safe while traveling. Love the rechargabilty and long battery life. Just big enough for the job, and light. Looks classy, too.

I've been looking for a product like this for a long time -- a passport holder that integrates with Apple's "Find My" functionality. It does not have "ultra wideband" like AirTags, so your phone won't be able to lead you to your passport in a room, but it does let you know where your passport is.Overall, the quality is good, no complaints. The number of slots for credit cards, etc., is also good. It's well designed.Of course, the holder is a bit thicker and a bit heavier than a "regular" passport holder, but that's to be expected. However, I'm happy with how thin it is -- it's not that much thicker than the holder I had been using.When I took it out of the box I immediately charged it, by simply placing it on my MagSafe charger. The holder locks in place (it's magnetic as well), so you can use it with vertical chargers. The charge is supposed to last months, but I haven't had the holder long enough to verify.Adding the holder to Find My on my iPhone was easy to do -- turn on the holder, go to Find My on my phone, and then select add item.Note that until you add the holder to your phone, it'll beep once every 10 minutes if on. This concerned me at first, as it's not well explained in the manual.Overall, recommended!

Diese Reisepasshülle aus veganem Leder ist ein super Begleiter auf Reisen, bei dem neben dem Reisepass alle wichtigen Karten und Dokumente sicher und ordentlich an einem Ort zusammengehalten werden.Die Passhülle hat rechts eine Einschubtasche für den Reisepass, und links vier Einstecktaschen für Kreditkarten, Führerschein oder ähnliche Karten. Unter den Einschubtaschen befindet sich noch Platz z.B. für die Bordkarte oder ähnliche Dokumente.Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Sicherheitskonzept dieser Passhülle: Zum einen ist sie mit einer RFID-Hülle ausgestattet, die ein Auslesen der Kreditkarten etc. verhindert. Des weiteren beinhaltet sie einen eingearbeiteten Tracker, so dass das Etui über die Wo-Ist-App des iPhones ganz einfach zu orten ist.Der Tracker selbst wird über einen Akku gespeist, der mittels MagSafe- oder QI-Ladegerät kabellos aufgeladen werden kann. Einmal aufgeladen, soll der Akku bis zu 5 Monate halten.Die Passhülle ist recht robust und ordentlich verarbeitet, das vegane Leder hat eine angenehmen Haptik und lässt sich leicht reinigen. Sie wirkt sehr edel, allein schon durch das vorne aufgedruckte Wireless-Charging-Symbol.Aufgrund der durchdachten und sicheren Funktionen ist diese Passhülle ein idealer Begleiter auf Reisen. Der im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Passhüllen recht hohe Preis ist aufgrund der Sicherheitsaspekte und der qualitativ sehr guten Verarbeitung durchaus gerechtfertigt.

The Satechi Passport Holder with Find My offers some useful features, but its overall appearance and quality leave much to be desired. The look and feel are very generic, lacking the premium touch you'd expect for the price. On the plus side, the integration of Find My does add a layer of convenience, allowing you to track your passport in case it gets misplaced, which is a standout feature compared to standard passport holders.However, despite the added Find My functionality, the price seems difficult to justify. While it includes practical features like 4 card slots, wireless charging, and RFID protection, they don’t do enough to make it feel like a high-end travel essential. I haven't tested the battery life yet, so I can't speak to how long it holds a charge, but overall, this passport holder feels more like a high-cost convenience than a must-have travel accessory.
