I bought this to use temporarily for testing on a home made crossbow. It did not come with the plastic tip covers. Showed up in perfect condition even considering the dollar store quality packaging. I've sent probably 250 bolts down range so far and it looks exactly the same as the day I received it. I wasnt expecting much and got more than I did expect.

The limb fit the cross bow arm perfectly. Was a little concerned because this limb is fiberglass and the original was aluminum. The bow actually seems to be faster. Don't know how long the original limb was delaminating so it might be that the bow was substandard for a long time. I use the bow for fishing which may be why I didn't notice the bad limb until it broke. A word of advise, those aluminum limbs splinter producing a lot of chard's which may get stuck in your arm or face. Check your aluminum limbs for delamination and if you find separations stop using the bow and replace the limb with this one. A lot less expensive than having a 3 inch sliver of metal removed from your forearm.

The fiber bow itself seems to be fine,The only reason I did not give more stars is that it did NOT comewith the bow tips as illustrated. This may be a small thing but isstill deceptive to my way of thinking.After contacting Amazon they, as expected solved the problemimmediately and I was able to obtain the tips from another company.

solid bow, no chipping of paint as stated in other reviews (has an almost rhino lining feel to it) the pull does feel heavier than 150lbs, and it shoots my 7/16" diameter oak bolts with authority out to 75 yards (probably more but thats the furthest target my archery range has) if your making your own crossbow like I did, its alittle tricky to cut the slot for the bow because it has a shallow "v" to it at the center, but thats also a good thing as the string drags less against the tiller.

This item got here PDQ! I was very pleased with the appearance of it, but this is no 150lb limb! I couldn't cock the thing to save my bones! I had to add a hub to the back of my receiver so that I could use a rope cocking device to cock the thing. It was clearly stronger than either of the 175lb crossbows we have. When I tried the first bolt, it rocketed away so fast I couldn't see it in flight! I cannot tell you how tickled I am with the thing. Now I have another hunting crossbow!
