I have to return the axle adapter because it did not fit my bike. I currently have a bike shop fitting the trainer with a new axle for the bike.

I’m had to order this after ordering my Saris Trainer. I have a Divergent By Specialized, I 🤔 think. Anyways, I did bare minimum research and reading and found I needed this Thru Axel. Based on my approximate eyeballing this unit was the right fit. It ended up being slightly off and had to MacGyver it.All is well and the bike was not harmed in the setting up of this device. 🤌🏼

It was hard to find a thru axle for my Saris Fluid 2 indoor trainer. Finally, a friendly guy from a nearby bike store suggested me this one and it worked perfectly and I was able to mount my bike on to the trainer.

Threads were rough during installation. It also wasn’t compatible with my cycle ops fluid 2 trainer. Pictures show how it kept falling partially out of trainer bracket. I ended up buying a replacement from The Robert Axel Project after reading another review. The threads were as smooth as butter during installation and fits very well with my trainer.

Unfortunately I did not use the part as it was not compatible with my bike. I did have to return the part. The vendor was wonderful with all the instructions on how to return the part. I would use this vendor again.

I was very careful with this product because another review indicated that he stripped his hub threads on his bike with this. Sure enough, my adapter came and the first couple of threads engaged and that was it. I pulled out my calipers and compared the threads on the adapter compared to the thru axle in my bike and sure enough, the threads are machined wrong. I'm returning and returning my Saris product. Terrible and the directions are a complete after thought and borderline worthless. I had to assemble everything by trial and error to verify things fit right before proceeding.

I use this for my Kickr and it fits perfect, easy to install and simple to remove!

I bought the 1.0TP version for my Specialized Diverge. The thread pitch on the axle is off enough that it will not thread in without force (which is a bad idea).

As I upgraded to a thru axle bike from my previous quick release, I found that it obviously wouldn't work with my trainer (CycleOps/Saris Fluid 2). As such, I logically thought that Saris would have the right adapter for my bike and trainer combination. When I was doing my research on here, I asked the question of whether or not this specific adapter would work with my bike (a Specialized Roubaix Sport 2018 model) and was told by the manufacturer in their response that it would. Based on their recommendation, I purchased this adapter and couldn't wait to start biking on the trainer again.Fast forward a few days to arrival, and I open the package and am ready to start the installation process. Unfortunately, there are essentially no directions provided with this product (there is one not very helpful or informative sheet of paper included with the adapter). After trying to make sense of what was provided, I went to the Saris website as I figured that there would be further instruction and information there. Unfortunately, I was giving Saris too much credit as there is no further instruction on installation in their video series, and there is no link to the manual when you click on that in their support section. With no help from Saris, I found a video on Youtube and set about installing the adapter. Fast forward a few days (and three sessions on the trainer) and the weather has improved, so I am setting up to go for a ride outside. However, now the actual thru adapter for my bike won't fully screw into my frame. Upon further investigation, it appears that the thru axle (that was recommended by Saris) has stripped the threading on my bike rendering me unable to actually use it anymore. This bike was over $2k and not something easily replaced, and I'm fearing that I may have ruined it completely with a $50 piece of crap.So to recap:1. Recommended by the manufacturer to fit my bike2. No instructions on how to use it or install it3. Finally installed it and it stripped the threading on my bikeAt this point I'm hoping that something can be done to repair my bike. But for those of you who are contemplating this purchase, I would advise you to look elsewhere. I've never owned anything but CycleOps/Saris trainers, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and in the future I will go for the Kinetic Traxle and consider a Kinetic trainer when this one breaks.Hopefully Saris sees this and incorporates some of this feedback in the future (i.e., actually have some instructions, a video on installation, and don't make faulty recommendations).
