This is great for tracing your picture onto canvas. I use this a lot. Will now buy it in multiple colors!

As an artist, I often will do a drawing that I want to transfer onto something else to paint. This tracing paper works quite well. It comes out white so it doesn't interfere with my painting. It's a bit pricey, but useful and can be used more than once when tracing.

We do some serious pumpkin carving for Halloween. We used to prick the pattern through into the skin and then use the dots as a guide. I came across Saral paper a few years ago and it makes things so much easier. You place the paper waxy side against the pumpkin, draw the pattern on top of it and when you remove the paper the pattern is clearly transferred and without damaging the skin.

Ease of use. I didn't have to pull out my papers for tracing when working on a painting project. Just grabbed the chalk pencil drew in the small amount of lines and continued with my project. I think I will find it very useful in my sewing projects too!

The product works find but the outer carton that holds the item is flimsy. If was received crumbled up due to the way it was shipped. The box is needed to store the unused portion.

I find this to be a useful image transfer product. I purchased the white roll. You put it between an image you want to copy and a black surface. You then go over the original image with a pencil (I find a colored pencil helps me keep track of where I've been) and the image is transferred to the black surface. This is especially useful for scratch art as the scratch art surface doesn't erase well. So, you create your original drawing on an ordinary sheet of paper, erasing and correcting as much as you need, and then use the transfer paper to move the image to the scratch art board.

Saral is such a great brand, it's legit my go to!!...I'm gonna let you guys in on a little secret, I use these mostly on pumpkins...that's right, pumpkins! They make transfering jack o lantern carving patterns a breeze. They leave a really good crisp image behind (shows up super well on the orange and even the green skins), and wipes off without any hassle. Saves me tons of time and energy before i completely commit to a pattern.I know they can be used for tons of other things, but if you ever need an outside the box jack o lantern transfer, please try this. I promise you will not regret it!!!

This works perfectly!!! I am working on a large and multiple small chalkboards for my business. I received a free ebook on here that showed to coat the back of paper with chalk and used that to trace image onto board (just seemed messy!) I also watched a great YouTube video where the woman used a projector to put the image on board to trace- I did not want to purchase a projector. This works FABULOUSLY! Just cut small piece off roll, tape behind image, then tape image on chalkboard to keep steady and trace. It leaves a perfect outline- Next I took bistro chalkboard markers and traced over and or filled in. For shading, ect, I use chalk pencils. Looks professional!!!! Great product!!

This is amazing for painters/artists who have difficulty depicting images. I make a free stencil online for phrases or print off pictures of what I'd like (a tiara, an elephant, etc.) and trace with ease! Just be careful not to push all over the paper, or you'll have to erase all over your project (not hard or damaging, just time-consuming). Here are the steps for your best results!1) Cut the appropriate sized paper for your project (one piece can be used multiple times!)2) Lay on top of canvas, wood, or whatever surface you wish to use (I like to use scotch tape to secure it and avoid shifting)3) Place print-out on top of transfer paper; measure to be centered and secure with scotch tape4) Use a dull pencil to trace the design completely5) Remove stencil and transfer paper and paint/color/fill in as desired6) After the project is dry, lightly erase the chalky white outlines10/10, will improve your art game!

This white transfer paper comes in a 12 foot roll, kind of like wax baking paper. I use it to transfer sketches and drawings on to painted canvases. It can be reused multiple times, you simple cut it to the length you need.I use a Fiskers Embossing Stylus that I bought off of Amazon to trace with so that I don't damage the original sketch. However you can use any blunt tip stylus or even a pencil. If the image or pattern you are tracing is lager that the transfer paper, tape the top of the image down (leave the bottom loose so it can be lifted) and slide the transfer paper over to the next section to finish tracing. Each piece you cut can be used multiple times so don't just through it away.I have found that when you use this on a painted canvas it can easily be removed with a kneaded eraser. However the lines don't need to be erased once you have your image traced. You can paint right over them and it will be fine.I included a few pictures as an example of transferring something onto a painted canvas. Also showing the stylus I used, and how well the kneaded eraser works with removing the lines.
