It screws I to cork just fine; but it is too smooth to get a solid hold to remove cork. I have to unscrew than use a manual corkscrew to remove cork.

No USE AT ALL I BOUGHT IT WITHOUT VEIN . IT WAS FOR MY PARENTS USE BUT IT NEVER WORKED ENEN AFTER USING WITH 4 BATTERIES . VERY UPSET. ALSO THE AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE ALWAYS LIES A LOT . ONE REP TOLD ME I CAN DI RETURN LESS RETURNING . NOW THEY’RE SAYING I CABT DI THAT BC IM OUT OF TOWN . All this did was drill a hole in the cork and make it almost impossible to open my wine. Do not purchase!

Used approximately 6 times and then the Cork got jammed. Tried several times to get it out with no success and now it is inoperable.
