I have used scan disk for many years. I have always trusted the name Sandisk. This was a 4GB disc and I usually use 8GB. But this is working just fine. Thank you for such a trusted product.

Admittedly, the world has moved to much larger storage capacities and miniaturized cards. But what if you have a fantastic vintage audio recorder or other old product that you want to keep using? A compatible new memory card can keep it working for another many years. My old card had finally gone belly up, and this pro-quality Marantz recorder was inoperable.I am so grateful that these SanDisks still exist. Some cheaper items are available, but Marantz calls for fairly tight specs on this card. The card arrived really quickly, worked perfectly, and my recorder is like new again. You can order this product confidently for whatever item calls for it. While it was not inexpensive for 4GB, it saved a recorder that cost hundreds of dollars and would be similarly costly to replace.

The two "SanDisk" Compact Discs were only 2GB. I ordered 4GB. Products I received were mis-labeled as "4GB" and therefore not what I ordered. I discovered this long after the return date. The device is fast, but not adequate for my needs. Now I am stuck with them. Best to verify what I receive before the return date expires.

Ordered it for expanded storage on my new old school dell pda being the SD card limit of 2gb. This nearly doubled the available storage for music audio books and videos. Was sealed and packed well. Worked just fine and no errors

I used the compactflash 4 gb memory card as a storage hard drive in my old amiga computer..I liked that the compact flash memory card was much faster then a old ide hard drive that the amiga computer came with..The storage capacity on the 4 gb memory card wa more then a hard drive made back then.

I got this Ultra as a backup to my Extreme III CF cards and it's been great. I've got an old Nikon D2H that I use for wildlife photography, birds in particular and this can almost keep up with the Extreme IIIs when it comes to long, high speed bursts of things like flocks of geese coming in to land even when shooting in RAW and jpeg simultaneously. Fair enough, the resolution is nowhere near as high on my D2H as it is on more modern cameras so the file sizes aren't huge but it's still nice to be able to sometimes rattle off 40 shots in a few seconds, wait a few more and then be able to do it again! I found that with this card, I just have to wait slightly longer between long bursts but as I don't shoot in this way very often, it's not really much of an issue. In normal use with the occasional short high-speed burst, I haven't noticed any real difference in performance as you'd probably expect. In terms of reliability, yep, I've had mine for years now and it's solid as a rock. No issues with corrupted files or missing ones but I regularly format the card in-camera which always seems to help with avoiding those sort of issues as well as having a good quality card in the first place. To sum up, this is a great card and if your camera doesn't need the faster transfer speeds that the Extreme III offers then this will do you just fine. I didn't get mine for the transfer speed, I got it because it's reliable and it certainly has been. One thing I will say is this: If you get one, check to make sure it's a genuine Sandisk card. I reduced the odds of ending up with a dodgy one by getting mine directly from Amazon but I still checked online just to be sure. The fake cards look quite convincing even down to the packaging but they will not perform anywhere near as well as a real one so it's well worth a few minutes of your time to make sure you don't have a dud.

This is the second time I've purchased this card. I shoot with a Canon 50d on all my photo session, and have had great luck. I haven't had any problems with it not shooting fast enough, but I don't often use rapid fire shooting.Only negative is that it doesn't come with a plastic case. I bought them separately in bulk for a few bucks, but I like to keep them in the cases. Did come in original, factory sealed packaging though.

I've used this CF card to install pfSense embedded image. pfSense is a free, open source customized distribution of FreeBSD tailored for use as a firewall and router in my office. This card act as a mini hard disk on my firewall. The card is very fast card and worked as described. SanDisk is a recommend brand due to its reliability. As usual, great product, price and service from Amazon.
