I've had many, many cats throughout the years and, therefore, many, many pet nail clippers. Some are dreadful, others okay, but I have never bought a pair like this. It costs more, granted, but in my opinion, it is well worth it. However, I should let the readers know that I have only used this the one time, so I cannot speak to how long they will remain as sharp as they are. I was able to quickly trim four of my cat's nails, including the dew claws, while he was struggling to free himself. The cuts were quick and clean with no shredding like with so many of the cheaper brands. I'll try to do a few more nails the next time I can catch him.
