I have only had this since March 2023 and it is already broken. I don't even use it everyday. I ignored the fact that it topples over if you put more than one item (2 shirts) on one side because it did the job and now it doesn't do that. What a waste. My last one lasted at least 3 years before I had to replace it but that was a different brand.

This works great! I used steamers on clothes for years managing women’s clothing stores.

It's simple to put together and seems to work OK except that after it begins to release steam, the machine will stall out and I'm just staring at it waiting for it to begin steaming again. It's taking the amount of time I would be saving with the efficiency of more output, larger water tank, and basically wasting it as I'm waiting for it to catch up with itself after stalling to release more steam mid process.

Very low performance. the product finishing is good, but it can be consider as a toy rather than an actual device.

I love my new Salav! I was going to do a video review, including unboxing, but I was so excited when I got it I couldn't wait to get it open and put together! I have always wanted a good steamer and have had others. They overheat, crack, leak, spit and just don't last...The packaging was good- little spots in the foam for the accessories so everything was easy to find. It was very easy to put together without instructions. (I did look- when prompted- to make sure I was doing it right.)The insulated hose was stiff when I first took it out of the box. Once it heated up it was very easy to maneuver. The spring keeps it from kinking or pinching at the base. The telescoping pole holds well and extends without problems. The clips hold the pole without slipping. The hanger just slips onto the top of the pole, there is no lock so don't pull it to extend the pole, it'll just pop off. It swivels without any catch. The hanger holds 6 garments and is also sturdy. The well slips right up to fill and did not leak even though I flipped it over and shook it a little. There is a drain hole under the steamer if you need to empty it out and also did not leak. It is very light and easy to lift. It only takes a couple minutes to heat up and then we're off and running. The steam is a nice even stream, no spitting or starts and stops. If you run out of water the auto shut-off takes effect. The hose, as well as the machine, does not heat up and is easy to handle. The steamer head sits nicely at the top of the pole.I also use my steamer for blocking my crochet projects. This was exciting as the iron will get heavy from hovering and you always need to be careful about not 'killing' your fabric. I tested my limit to see if the steam will kill an item, and it does, but you really have to sit on one spot to do it. I also block larger items on the floor so I tested first on my ironing board and then took to my blocking spot on the floor to test for spits and drips. The condensation will collect in the hose (naturally) so lifting the hose every once in a while for the moisture to drip back down and you're good! No drips on my projects, no spitting! The only cons I find are: 1) There are no wheels to maneuver easily around- even a detachable wheeled base would be appreciated. Although, the base guard does keep it from tipping. 2) The is no place on the machine to store the attachments. Like my vacuum I would like my attachments to be easily available for use, should I decide to use it, on the spot. 3) No handle on the machine to lift it except the pole. It's not heavy, and maybe the pole is meant for this action since it screws in securely. Also, the little rubber button guard fell off on the second day and I can't get it back on so it's in the box with the attachments.All-in-all, I love my new Salav!
