Some of the structural pieces are designed with such a small connection that there is no way to assemble it without breaking it. It's made out of layered balsa type wood and just does not tolerate any torque. We had to return it.

This is fun to assemble, it works really well once put together, and the pieces are surprisingly high quality and very precisely cut.There was one piece that was a bit hard to assemble, and one of the pieces broke, but they anticipated that, and there were spares of that component, so it was not an issue. I have bought more from this company because this one was so much fun.

My Grandson started putting this together as soon as he got it. Took a few hours and is fun to watch the marbles cycle through

The model I got arrived on time and was fine when I opened it. But as I started to put it together, the pieces broke as I tried to get them out. I wrote to the company and asked if I could get replacement sheets—I was willing to buy them—but I have yet to receive a response.So, I looked at the puzzle and repeatedly found that people could not build it. I finally had to give up. One person said to buy three, so you can make one, using the other two units for spare parts. I think I could do it with two sets, but do I need to buy another?I would pass. I have to decide whether Amazon will give me a refund. I call it really bad.

Wooden models are always fun, and this is no exception. It's quite worth the effort to get this put together. I'm glad the pieces are shipped inside their template boards, as that helps protect them in shipping (and they're shrink-wrapped too). The instructions are easy enough to follow, and you can choose to glue stuff in place too once you're absolutely sure you've done things right. Keep in mind these are advanced builds, no matter how simple they appear. That's because of how thin the wood is, someone needs to be absolutely delicate with handling, and you'd probably want this displayed inside a case to keep it clean and looking nice.

this is so much fun with the family. need to use some brain juice on building it. but super nice loop once its set up
