I thought this incubator would be great. However even with the Styrofoam on it, I can't get the temp to 99.5 on the chicken setting on my kitchen counter and our house temp is 70°. I decided to put it on the quail setting and the temp was working great but the automatic turner stopped working completely and ruined a batch of chicks. I did email the company and got an automated reply and nothing since. And of course my window for returning the item has passed.The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the set up is nice with good visibility into the incubator and I love the vent to help adjust humidity if needed. I also like the water ports so that I never have to open the incubator to just add water.Looks like it's a 50-50 chance on getting a good one or a lemon like I did so take your chance purchasing this item.

I bought the 24 egg incubator with a few doubts due to some reviews, i put 24 chicken eggs in the first day temperature held really well, humidity was a bit hard to control but its not that bad. On day 5 the eggs started showing veins and i began picking out the eggs that had no development or were just not fertile, after that i had 18 eggs left. Today i hatched All 18 eggs no deformities only one chick had curled toes which is easy to fix just wrap the foot flat on some medical tape for 2 days and it should be good. But its a good incubator in general im glad with the results 😎

This is the second incubator I purchase. I purchased this one as a gift for my dad after having amazing results with my first incubator. I hatched chicken, duck and guinea fowl eggs on my first two attempts. Out of all the eggs that were placed for incubation, only 3 guinea fowl and 2 chicken eggs did not hatch. When candling them, only one was actually fertile and the embryo died during development. I would defenitely recommed this product to anyone wanting to hatch their own poultry. My girls absolutely loved learning the process and watching the eggs hatch. It is very user friendly and a great price also.

This incubator has some pros and cons and I recommend doing research to determine if this right unit for you.The pros:I candled my quail eggs before lockdown. 20 out of 24 developed. So, despite the cons, it worked.The temp and humidity on the built-in display are close to that of a hydrometer that I placed inside. It appears accurate.The cons:Maintaining humity requires a lot of trial and error. If consistency matters to you, it will take a lot of patience, monitoring, and practice.There is an alarm that will sound if humidity falls below 45% during the first couple weeks. I was advised by breeders to keep humitity lower for the first 14 days (closer to 30%), there is no way to disable the alarm or change the parameters for humitity. It's annoying.Normal operation of the incubator is noisier than some others I've seen since ordering this unit. It is not obnoxious, but it sounds like a cheap computer cooling fan that is running too fast.Summary:It is functional, and it's good for the price point, but I would advise family or friends to fully consider the pros and cons before buying at this price point. If you plan to hatch a lot of eggs, you may something that has more customizable setting and better humidity control.

Where do I start? Well this is my first incubator and I had no idea what to expect. But this sailnovo 24 egg incubator was amazing!!! Done it's job perfectly. All I had to do was monitor and fill the water in the A side for 19 days and then open the air vent on lock down day 19 and fill both A and B side with water for humidity. The incubator done everything else. Oh and remember to remove the egg turning tray plus disconnect the power wire only to egg turner. Within the 21 days all 7 of my fertile eggs was hatched. 💯% hatched. Highly recommend this incubator!! Hope this helps anyone trying to decide which one to buy.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had some issues with the incubator but the customer service team answered and helped right away. Good machine if you stick in normal parameters of 100.5 and 55%+. Not for dry hatching though.

I purchased the Sailnovo 24 egg incubator. During the 1st incubation the candler and turner buttons stopped working. I contacted the company directly via the email on the pamphlet and they sent me a replacement right away.
