Easy to use, simple. Seems to give accurate tension readings. Nicely packaged for protected shipping. I wish it had the measurements actually on the back of the handle like I have seen on others. Also note the conversions for measurements in metric.

I needed a tensionometer for a non-marine project that I'm working on. This is a good value guage to some others that I have seen. It is well built and really optimized for use on sailboat rigging. The problem that I have with it is that I accidentally ordered it in metric size and not for inches sized cables so I had to some manual conversions. Otherwise it's fairly easy to use and comes with decent instructions.

I live on the southern east coast so this is perfect for the sailboat. Easy to use, easy to read, and easy to set up. Accuracy matters! Great value!
