This car seat works well for what ever your baby size. I got it for rear facing with my 2 year old which it works perfectly. It was very easy to install. I took it to my local police dept to make sure it was being used properly and they actuall said my child can be front facing. She found the seat very comfortable and is loving her new view. the head rest of the seat adjust to different heights. This is a very good seat. It is very durable.

It’s simple to adjust height, upright position, and straps. No complaints did take a few minutes to figure out where the metal piece was to connect the shoulder straps. Once found, it was easy to connect them. Push on strap adjustment piece and pull metal piece (connected to adjustment strap) further back behind car seat then connect shoulder straps. Then adjust to child’s needs. Definitely worth it especially being a car seat for all stages. Material is soft and comfortable. I like that there’s plush material around the buckle to protect baby’s/toddlers/ preschooler’s legs from pinching.

I bought this car seat strictly for airplane travel as I have a very big 2 year old who needs their own space on airplanes. The car seat was great to bring through the airport (attached it to a box cart) and to install on the plane as a rear facing seat - it is very lightweight and easy to install with the airplane seatbelt. There was no room for the person in front of us to lean their chair back, however. 5 stars for airplane travel!For use in a car as a rear-facing car seat is another story. I personally don’t like how it attaches to the car and the strap is very difficult to adjust. I have to use a towel to support the base (as directed in the manual) and it makes the seat very unsteady. It’s okay for temporary use while traveling but I would not use this car seat on a regular basis. 3 stars for this type of use.
