It comes with a full set of 13 locks. The locks and the keys are all numbered, and there is a place to write names and other information directly on them. I imagine this is important for saving time rather than trying each one to open them. The locks themselves are plastic, like many LOTO locks. The shackle has a fair amount of play, but feels secure enough. When opened, it retains the key in the lock. The side-cut milled keys are unique enough to prevent a simple copy, such as a master key at a Walmart vending machine. This is a bonus. I don't think the lock would stand up to destructive entry, but that's not the point of LOTO locks. I'm not sure about their weather resistance, but the extra play in the lock may help it hold up better. Very often, LOTO locks that are made of metal are cast aluminum anyway.I cannot comment on pick resistance, as this is the first time I've encountered a padlock like this. However, the key is the same type used on our 2019 work van.The lock is guttable, and once unlocked, there is a screw down in the shackle that allows the mechanism to slide out with the core. I think this prevents destructive entry. My only concern is the twisting of the core itself inside the lock body, though giving the core a hard twist did not turn it.I do not work in a tag-out environment, but I am in the field often and have a need to lock less secure "pilfer" areas. These will serve me well, as I don't have to worry so much about access to these areas. Now, the box is what attracted me to this product, but admittedly not for its intended use. I plan to put a couple of cameras and a rechargeable battery in it to be used as a "shopkeeper." The case can easily be bolted down, and money or coins can be dropped inside through the holes. The openings on the side allow airflow and sound to get into the box. There is even room to post a sign inside it. Maybe some lights or a small LED sign...It would even make a decent micro PC case... sorry, Nerding out.I love the Plexiglas, the rubber feet, the handle, the color, and the solid construction. The plexiglass sides give me so many options to use it as a Girl Scout Cookie booth shop watcher or micro server case.Even for the case and 13 locks, for Benjamin seems like a real good deal.

I have used different brands of LOTO locks and kits over the years, as an electrician. I have come to love SAFBY as my choice for my LOTO needs. The locks are very sturdy and they hold up in inclement weather. Even with the abuse these locks may take on any given job site, I have never had one fail to lock or unlock. That, in my opinion, is worth the cost. These 13 locks come with 2 keys per lock. What I did notice was the keys have a number etched on them and the same number is engraved on the lock itself. In the past, I would have to try a few different keys to get one unlocked, so seeing the engraved numbers on the locks and keys is a nice added touch. And lastly, the padlock box to store the locks in, is also a nice feature of the kit. The box is well made, the lid has a nice tight seal when it is closed, and the sides have clear plexiglass. This kit is a must for any electrical contractor, maintenance electrician, project superintendent, and etc., on any active job site. LOTO programs are crucial out in the field to keep guys safe. These locks in this kit hold up.

I know this box is for for people working in construction, fixing electrical, or other dangerous equipment. This is not why I decided to try it out however. I got this as more of a safe/safety box from the kiddos. I would have thought it to be bigger for any dangerous equipment. It has 13 nice locks. The tops are hard plastic, but it seems to be backed by steel or some other metal. Not sure if you could use a plier to cut the locks. I would hope not, as it’s supposed to be for dangerous equipment. There are plenty of holes for the many locks. I like this because it makes it harder for anyone to break into it as you would have to find the correct key, or all the keys depending on how many you put on it. You can see through it plainly which I don’t mind. It is easy to cover the walls if you wanted to hide things away in it. It is slightly weighted, but also not as heavy as I would expect it to be. It would be an easy removal for anyone trying to take it. I don’t think the glass is bulletproof or cut proof. So I’m sure it could be bashed in or cut with a glass cutter easily. Again, not what I’m using it for. Makes a nice lock box to keep pocket knives, pepper sprays, etc out of reach of the kiddos. Also comes in handy to lock up their phones and tablets when necessary.

Very solid lockout box kit, the locks don't feel cheap and the box is of good construction. The locks and keys are all unique, in the sense that #1 keys won't unlock any lock except the #1 lock. The keys are center cut and seem to be of good quality. The locks are plastic-bodied with metal internals. Again, despite the material, they feel very sturdy. The keys will not come out of the lock once unlocked, you have to re-lock it for the keys to come out. Each lock and pair of matching keys came individually boxed with its number clearly written on the box, so it would be easy to hand these out to a team of workers and keep track of who owns what lock. The locks themselves, and the keys, are each marked as to which number they are as well. Everything is very organized, I really like this feature because it can be frustrating matching keys to locks when everything isn't labelled. There is also a label on the back with blank spaces for any information you need to write on the locks themselves.Overall I think this is a great lockout box set, the value is good for the price considering it is OSHA compliant and can be used on job sites.
