Got this to replace the failing support on my 99 GMC Safari lift gate and it fits perfectly and holds it up. Can't ask for anymore than that. Takes less than a minute to install and fit like a glove.

Perfect replacement for my gmc safari. I liked these more then others I have purchased in the past because they came with new ball sockets on the lower end... Job took about 5 minutes, and that was replacing both.
