Perfect size to keep anywhere. The way they designed the trigger makes it almost impossible to spray in the wrong direction. The trigger lock keeps you from spraying accidentally. This gel version is far superior to the spray because you don't have to worry much about wind. It is also more effective as it stick to the target.I have not had to spray anyone so I can't speak about effectiveness but Sabre is a well known brand so I am not worried about that.

Got these to carry when walking my dog or just for everyday situations that might arise. My old one wouldn't work when needed, so I am glad the design has been changed. This is much better, much harder to accidentally spray yourself.

I got this just to be safe since gel has more control than regular spray. The color is so cute and the lock feature is great. I never have to worry. It fits comfortably and the attachment for my keychain is sturdy.

Bought these for my daughter that travels for work. Easily attaches to a key chain. Activated by lightly pressing with your thumb. The Pepper stream shot at least 12-15 feet. It’s different than a spray that can affect a large area. This is a stream that can be directed at your target. Using your thumb helps prevent someone from turning your wrist to hit yourself. Safe to use.

I bought this pack to share with my two sisters. I like that it’s a gel so the risk of blowback is reduced than with a regular liquid. Also like the safety factor of having the button covered by a flap so you don’t accidentally press it. But it’s easy and fast to slip your thumb in and press the button. The grip marks are also appreciated. Recommend.

The biggest problem is that the bottom can come apart.The bottom is only held on by small plastic clips, which seam to weaken over time. One accidental yank on the pepper spray when the keys get caught on a pocket or something else will result in the bottom coming off. From then on, it's weaker and falls off more often.(I might try super gluing it on to prevent this.)Overall it's a good keyring pepper spray. The finger protection ensures that it never goes off by accident. I've carried this daily for about 3 years now with zero accidental discharges. It's a little bulky, and I do wish they made a smaller one as an option. And the gel is easy to use and aim.

It can be carried everyday because of its small size and compactness. I purchased two for the ladies in the family to carry on their keychain/purse. The safety cap prevents accidental discharge while in the purse or pocket. The Company claims nearly 25 sprays (Gel) with a range of upto 12 feet. Since it is gel-based, it outputs a steady jet while most other canisters throw fumes-like spray. The gel keeps you safe from reverse spray due to wind or when in closed spaces. I feel every lady should carry atleast a small keychain torch and a pepper spray, for self-defence while travelling alone. Of course, keeping it handy and ready to use in doubtful situations is more important than just carrying it around.The seller TheGlobalGenie delivered a freshly manufactured product much before the delivery deadline, so happy with the Seller. By the way, Sabre has a product expiry of 4 years, so getting it fresh helps.
