This fake tv is a great way to make your house look occupied! As tiny as it is, from the street it looks like the tv is on upstairs. Built in timer is perfect! 10/10 would recommend!!

We use this when we go on vacation. We place it in one of the bedrooms in the front of the house on the second floor and we leave the blinds open and face it towards the window. We put it a few feet away from the window, as when we tested it further away from the window, we found that the lights didn't seem bright enough from outside. Being closer to the window and having the blinds open definitely made the difference from outside. The color patterns mimic a television being on, making the house look occupied when we're away for an extended period. We're happy with the purchase as it provides a little extra peace of mind for a minimal cost.

Bought this for my son and he liked it. He said if you wanted this in a room where you usually have a large tv, you might use two to simulate brightness. But he was happy with it

This product did not meet my expectations..... it is not very bright and it was difficult to position to be viewed by the street, but not allow someone to see the device if they peeked in a window. I tried turning the device sideways but it is very hard to see the lights from afar. Also, the setting for it to come on for a limited period of time and then turn off automatically does not work. I was able to get it to work once by going from one mode to another, and then it switched off at the allotted time but it did not ever turn back on by itself on that mode. What I have chosen to do is keep it on the ON mode and use a timer plugged into the electrical outlet to be able to use the device for the time and purpose that I wanted. I would look at other products before buying again.

I put these in a rental house that I am renovating. The neighbors thought I was living there because they kept seeing the TV come on at night! This really works! They come on at dusk and stay on for about 5 hours - as promised. I put the blinds down in the rooms I put them in so no one could look in to see what might be going on...but I slightly cracked the blinds in the downward direction. Then I set the device on the floor and pointed it directly at the blinds. If I can I will try to video this tonight to show it.

Simple to use and works as described. It is extremely sensitive to light sources, so I recommend an inexpensive manual timer and set this to "On" instead of "Daylight" setting whenever it will be near any light source. But, the Daylight setting works as described as well. If you put it in a room that will get dark when it goes to dusk, it will turn on and stay on for 4-5 hours. You need to put it near the window if you have shades pulled down or point it toward a wall and leave the shades open.
