I haven’t used them yet, but they are beautiful. The quality of craftsmanship is great. It’ll be nice to fit these in my purse when I travel. I would love to get these as a gift.

These black squirrel hair brushes are great. I was skeptical at first from what I was seeing in the other recent reviews but over all I was pleasantly surprised. Now if you are not used to very soft bristled paint brushes then these might not be the ones for you, but they hold a lot of water very well and I started that hydrangea painting with them. After wetting them for the first time it’s to be expected that some hairs would fall out but hardly any came out and the brushes retained their shape afterwards (Second photo after soaking). Most of the reviews that I saw that mentioned issues were for mostly the synthetic hair brushes so, as far as I can say, the natural squirrel hair brushes are great and perfect for travel. Easy to use, easy to store, easy to clean, and affordable.

Love everything about these. Beautiful leather case. The brushes were well made and held water wonderfully! For someone like me that takes their paints with them every day, the best part is that they were easy to break down to be travel ready. The price for three was unbeatable! They're my new favorite!

I love that the handles can be taken apart, and they are hollow, so they can be used to protect the brush heads. When the handles are on the end of the brush, they are almost the same size as a full size watercolor brush, so they are a good size for painting with. I have bought several of these kits, and given them as gifts. Without exception, everyone that I have gifted them to is in love with them! I carry one in my purse along with a small paint kit that has 12 colors in it. They go with me where ever I go!

I love getting these brushes out and painting with them. The brush is protected by the hollow handle so you can take them traveling, and the handles are comfortable to hold. They deliver watercolors to the paper in a very controllable manner, making details easy and some wash work possible.

The quality control was my main reason for 3 stars instead of 5. I love painting with these, I reach for them frequently. The presentation is great (the little pouch is lovely and buttery soft) they feel nice in the hand, they have a nice spring (they might be even better than my favorite silver brush golden naturals), they don’t shed and they behave like hair (they hold water without dumping it). The brushes dance, they’re graceful and lovely to make strokes with. My main gripe is that the flat brush in my set doesn’t have as nice of a tip as the others, it has uneven bristles, so I don’t get a precise brush stroke. It seems like I got a dud… if the company reaches out and remedies this I’ll change my review.My only other thing is a future suggestion to label the caps. It’s hard to tell at a glance in the pouch which brush is which without taking all the caps off until you find the brush you are looking for, with the exception of the liner, it’s noticeably smaller.3 stars aside, I still recommend these, they are great brushes for the price if they could fix that quality control issue.

I definitely like how pleasantly it looks. It is really made with love and outstanding care. It is very enjoyable to paint. I highly recommend it as an artist in the third generation who has a sophisticated taste in art supplies. An excellent brush saves your nerves and time. Remember it please!

I've been using another brand up till now, but their offering was limited to round points and only in larger sizes. Even with water colors I like working with different styles of bristle brushes. That said, these are good quality brushes that will hold a lot of paint, they break down and store in a compact pocket case. Each bush is threaded and stores with a couple of threaded twists into the barrel for safe keeping and drying. When re-assembled for use, I found the brushes to be very solid to use and not loose like some others that just push together. I'm pleased with the variety of brush sizes and bristle configurations. I hope in the future they develope a few more sizes in some of the shapes..

Son unos pinceles finos, pero les falta el acabado finos. Aunque se pinta bien y no suelta pelo, el abanico que forma el pincel no es uniforme.
