Ease of installation plus it solved several issues with my Trane furnace short cycling. Had been having issues with my furnace working off and on but mostly off. Sometimes furnce would fire up then shut down and other time furnace would short cycle even before burners lit up. So I replaced the igniter controller thinking that I had nothing to lose because if problem wasn't solved I could return it. Furnace is now operating better then ever.

This worked good , bought one from a local store for twice the price and only lasted 2 days and could not return it , told me to return on electrical parts . On Amazon had 14 days warranty.

It is a good fit for my old water boiler. Most pins are compatible. Only need to rewire two pins. The boiler is running fine for three months now. The HVAC guy was trying to convince me to replace the boiler for several thousand dollars and I fixed it by myself!
