These bite blocks help me to keep my mouth open during the longer procedure.It is easier to rest your jaw on it then keep it wide open by yourself.Also, I know the dentists have these but I like to have my privately own.

We we weregoing to have our dogs teeth cleaned until they said we had to have him knock out with anesthesia,,,,,and the cost was near 1000 dollars ,,so we bought this and it does allow us to brush his gums and teeth,,with some effort

Anyone who has to help a squirmy, fighting toddler do mouth rehab needs these. My son bit through the styrofoam one from his dentist and the wooden tongue depressors we were using. These blocks have saved me. They’re easy to get into place and small so I can get my fingers where they need to go. They’ve made the complicated frenectomy rehab process much easier on us all.

If you've ever experienced your jaw not opening normally after dental work, this may be your cure. They have no taste and are soft on your teeth yet rigid enough to hold you jaw open. Starting with the smallest, insert one on the side where the pain is causing your jaw not to open until you feel the jaw muscle pain. Beware, at first you'll drool! Keep it there as long as you can stand it or a practical amount of time, Once or twice a day worked for me. As you can, move to the next size. After a few days, you should be back to normal! Good luck.

Getting different sizes for the price is awesome.I tried these for my special need child and for my child no size was effective.I guess it depends how much your child cooperates, fights you, and can try to push them out or around.They were difficult to use in this sense.

The product title said "Wecando Dental Oral Silicone Mouth Prop Bite Blocks Latex Free Cheek Retractor AUTOCLAVABLE. (6 Count/pack)." So our clinic purchased them. After one use they warped. When checking the small print in the description it says "Non Autoclavable. Cold disinfection and immersion ONLY."DO NOT ORDER IF YOU WANT A PRODUCT YOU CAN PUT IN THE AUTOCLAVE.

My husband had bought some of these a while back for his mouth after he had a stroke and needed them to help him stop clinching his teeth. They worked great!!! However he left a couple of them out on the coffee table wrapped up and our dog wanted to try them out and ended up chewing them up. LOL.So we bought some more!

I have arthritis an Endotic used one during a root canal it was incredibly helpful for me. My dentist doesn't have these so I bought one to use while she finishes my tooth. I only needed one had to toss rest but the price was reasonable. If you have difficulty keeping your mouth open during dental work this is a lifesaver. All dentist should have these available in their office.
